The guesthouse is located within walking distance from Busan station and Chinatown. There is a direct limousine bus or short taxi ride from the airport. Convenience store and restaurants are easily available in the vicinity.
Our hosts, Glyn and Yiseul, were really friendly and helpful. They spoke good English, Mandarin and Korean. We were given clear directions from the airport and informative descriptions about the places of interest. These really helped in our planning of the itinerary and we did not have any boring day in Busan.
Our room and the common areas were well equipped. Breakfast was free and easy and the spread was sufficient. We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay in this clean and cosy place.
I really love the minimalist modern deocor of the guesthouse! Initially, my friend and I were exhausted from all the travelling (because we took a early morning train from Seoul to Busan), but when we reached the guesthouse, we were welcomed very warmly by our host, Glynsen and given some refreshment to settle down before he recommended extensively on the various places to go in Busan. He gave very good suggestions and we thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing that he recommended! It has a very central location that enabled us to easily head to Gamcheon Cultural village, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Heundae and Gwangalli Beach, Taejongdae, Somyeon street in a short span of 2 days! The room that we resided in was very cosy with a plush bed which was tidied up neatly everyday. We were very pleased that body, hair shampoo and clean towels were provided together with heater in the bathroom! :) The host also went out of their way to help us fold our laundry and kept them nicely in a bag when we were in a rush:) Our best stay in Korea so far!
Very near busan metro station. Convenient location to travel to anywhere. Glynsen has been a very helpful host in suggesting the places to visit & how to plan our itinerary when it rains etc. the lobby has a cosy dining area where simple breakfast is available! I took the tower view double room. It is very spacious & clean. Stylish minimalist interior design look which makes the room appealing & cosy to stay in. Appreciated the good quality hand soap & shower toiletries provided!
Morning Dew Guesthouse is located in a peaceful neighbourhood that is highly accessible to travellers, especially those who are taking a short trip to Busan from Seoul. The guesthouse is a convenient 5 minutes walk away from Busan Station, from which the KTX train operates. It is easy to take the Metro out to either the Eastern or Western sides of Busan to visit key tourist attractions ranging from Gamcheon Cultural Village to Gwangalli Beach. Additionally, the guesthouse is two train stations away from Nampo-dong, a great shopping district where tourists can get great deals whilst experiencing traditional Korean cuisine and street food at both BIFF Square and Gukje Market.
The guesthouse itself features a modern design and the rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. The room I stayed in had massive windows offering spectacular views of Busan Tower as well as the colourful buildings surrounding it. The room was warm and cosy, with a heating system and an ensuite toilet containing a luxurious rain shower. Breakfast is included and you may dine and cook your own meals in the common area on the first floor-- creating a homely atmosphere that makes you feel as though you are living like a local. The first floor includes a kitchen and dining area, and is lovingly decorated with the owners' personal touches in the form of the many photographs on the walls that were taken by the owners themselves on their travels. The guesthouse also offers free wifi, and the wifi signal is strong at all areas in the guesthouse-- highly useful for last minute research on information about the attractions in Busan.
The owners are extremely warm and friendly, ready to offer any assistance and suggestions on the key attractions to visit. I would highly recommend staying at this guesthouse!
Location: Morning Dew Guesthouse is conveniently located near the Busan Station. It is just a few-minutes' walk from the station and the airport limousine bus stop. Great spot to use as a base for your stay in Busan - I got around town easily on the buses and trains from there.
The guesthouse itself is very new and is designed by an award-winning architect. From the moment you step in, you'll enjoy the design-oriented space. Loved my room (#7) - great views, ample sunlight and with the unique loft design, made it a wonderful choice for individuals travelling with friends since each one gets his own bed. Took a peek at the other rooms which are perfect for couples, families, etc. Loved the security of the guesthouse: rooms all had digital locks and to enter the guesthouse you’d need a security tag. All the necessary amenities were provided and the room was spotless and comfortable. The heated floor also made the wintry nights very bearable. Breakfast is simple, self-service and I enjoyed the communal dining space where I got to interact with other guests. You’d need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the guesthouse and depending on which floor your room is, there may be some level of daily exercise involved ;) The hosts were extremely helpful and I got some help with my luggage! They were super duper resourceful too and made wonderful restaurant recommendations, places I would otherwise not have found!
I highly recommend Morning Dew Guesthouse if you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable accommodation in Busan!
