At the time of covid we wanted to spend sometime outside of our house and didn't have time to travel out of the city. So decided to go for a Staycation. It was one of the best decisions. Our stay at The Oberoi was absolutely memorable. The room was perfect, the view was stunning and the food heavenly.
I never thought i could have such a beautiful and peaceful stay at a hotel right on MG Road in Bangalore. It didn't feel like we are in the middle of the city. There is so much green all around that it was totally relaxing and fresh.
The staff is very courteous and friendly. Everything at the hotel was sanitized and gave us the sense of security and our minds were at ease, thus we enjoyed every bit of our stay.
Even if you don't have the time to stay at The Oberoi you have to go there for the FOOD!!! Everything on the menu is to die for. Loved everything we ordered!
Definitely would love to go back again there when life is back to normal and we can enjoy their service at the spa and the swimming pool.
Stay - Memorable
Food - Mouth watering
Rooms - Perfect
Service - Exceptional
Staff - Courteous & helpful
Overall Hotel - Peaceful, Green and a must stay
I visited The Oberoi, Bengaluru this weekend with my husband for a well deserved break post the lockdown. We were overwhelmed with the warmth and professionalism of the team. The areas were continuously sanitized and care was taken to assure hygiene and safety. The F&B offerings were incredible and we were blown away with the flavours, presentation and personalised service at The Polo Club.
The room was cozy, clean and had all the amenities provided for a comfortable stay. We loved the view of the rain tree and pool, not to mention watching the rain from our balcony. We couldn’t believe that we were in the middle of the city surrounded by so much greenery! Danyele from housekeeping customised our room and left us a handwritten note which was a special touch. The front desk noted our requests and ensured that they were actioned on a timely basis. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.
My husband and I stayed at the Oberoi for one night- A sort of weekend getaway.
Before arriving at the hotel, I was doubtful
about how it would handle the current covid situation but was I surprised! They had thought of pretty much every detail . Infact every few mins I would see someone wipe down the main lobby. Great job maintaining the sanitation and following all of the anti covid measures! I must say that from the start to the end, you are treated like
Royalty. The staff was exceptional.. I can not find fault with any of them. Rohith , the duty manager who checked us in, Lucky who showed us to our room, all of the restaurant staff- simply fantastic! The room itself was beautiful and spacious!. Tastefully decorated with rose petals and balloons. They also had arranged for a fresh rose bouquet and a blueberry cheesecake ( my fav). The best pl part though was the balcony which overlooked the hotels beautiful garden and pool. Perfect place to sit down with your loved ones and just relax. The next morning we had breakfast and lunch at the hotel itself. The breakfast was great.. we had a mix of Indian and continental anf forlunch we had the south indian thaali. Again delicious food and to top it.all off the the staff got us a chocolate cake as we had recently got married; so very thoughtful of them!
We also went for a short stroll through theirs gardens; the greenery around is simply soothing to the soul.
There is nothing negative i can really think about when it comes to this place or the people here.
Amazing place for a short Romantic Getaway- will definitely make it a longer stay next time
I used to come here a lot when I was younger for the AMAZING Sunday brunch and always said, once I get a job I'll stay here and swim in the pool we'd always wished we could swim in.
Five years later and my partner and I booked a few nights in the executive suite.
It was even better than I could have imagined! Staff were INCREDIBLE! They even left a leather hair straightener pouch when they realised I wasn't using one. The laundry supervisor took great care of our (at that point in the trip, disgusting) clothes, and the pool attendants kept us full of lassi.
The food was amazing. Cocktails great. Room phenomenal. Bed comfy.
We loved getting our choice of newspapers each morning to read on the lawn - almost forgetting you're in Bangalore.
We've since stayed in a lot of nice hotels around the world, and nothing compares to the Oberoi. It's the little things, and this hotel knows exactly how to do them.
The Oberoi Bengaluru is truly a stunning property. This hotel defines luxury, hospitality, and is nestled away to make you feel you are in the midst of the South Indian vegetation. The property is well laid out, rooms amazing, service leaves me speechless.
We celebrated a birthday & retirement - the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were made truly special.
This is a must stay next time we are in Bengaluru for sure - this was part of our South Indian tour - family - 3 rooms for 3 nights.
The pool, the spa, the fitness facility, lobby, restaurants, bar, and the list goes on - this property is tailored for any traveller.
There are a few people that went above & beyond to make our stay unbelievable:
