Very disappointing experience at this Guest House following recommendation from friends who stayed here 2 years ago - definitely not recommended. Hotel is poorly managed and lacking basic care and maintenance (for example broken shower) and attention to good customer service and care. The pool is unusable as it is not being properly cleaned. We had to ask staff to make up our room. Worse of all are The various KTV bars in the immediate vicinity which are very noisy in to the small hours. The street outside is unkempt and full of garbage. We cancelled our booking on our return stopover in Siem Reap. Not recommended for a stay!
The room is huge, and the bed is ok. The breakfast was also good.
It is a bit outside the central part of the city, but the tuktuks are cheap so it is ok.
It has a little garden and a tiny pool.
Mind that your breakfast will take its time, they are not fast. Also one of the days they forgot yo make up the room.
I have to say that the transfer service from the airport to the hotel was not presented upon our arrival. The man at the desk was wrong putting the time in the morning when we arrived in the afternoon. The room was fine, we wanted to bathe in the pool but it was really dirty. We could not sleep until 4 in the morning, because the music of the nightclub next to the hotel was very loud. The staff was very polite and correct and helped us to print some documents that we needed and offered us the late check out without an extra cost.
The hotel is quiet, clean and most important, the staff is very nice and helpful. They efficiently booked tours and transportation for me.
The room are simple, but have AC and TV and Wifi. There is a tiny swiming pool and the main problems I encountered was the hotel's location - about two kilometers from the downtown (Night Market and Pub Street).
If your expectations aren't high, it is a good place to stay.
I discover this little gem this month and can’t wait to go back!
The hotel is small and personal, the staff are very friendly and attentive, they are sincere about offering an excellent guest experience.
The rooms are spacious, modern and clean.
There is a small swimming pool prefect to relax and cool down after a day visiting the temples or Siem Reap countryside.
Location is good, 5 min from the old market and pub street area with a tuktuk, 2 minutes walks from the bus station Giant Ibis.
They also rent bicycles for only a couple of dollars a day. It is actually the best way to get around !
The Pleasant Villa is definitely very pleasant and I will be back !
