A great few days at the Meydan relaxing by the pool, the lifeguards Mr Prasanna and his colleagues were so helpful & very friendly making sure I had everything I needed all day every day, I really appreciated this thank you for their kindness, it was also nice that the music by the pool was not so loud this time.
Your chief in Farriers is a credit to you, the food & dishes he and his team produce are the best I have tasted, these guys work so hard to make sure customers always come first and nothing is too much trouble, I hope they are recognised for the amazing food they produce & service they provide.
Breakfast was a very busy time, due to the current offers the hotel are running for local families and the staff seemed rushed off there feet most of the time, maybe a table order service (same as at Bab Al Shams) & more staff would be an option as social distancing was a challenge due to the families & children queuing for food, I used to know the food & beverage manager, he was always made sure the guests were greeted & well looked after, this was a great touch, but no idea who the F&B manger is now.
Housekeeping needs to be improved, not as good as previous stays, maybe you use agency staff rather than employ directly, always had to ask for towels, toiletries & replacement cups for the room. (missing the luxury touch now)
The staff at Meydan are lovely and always so very friendly & happy to help, nothing is too much trouble, they want to do everything they can to make your stay a happy one, lots of new staff as many of previous staff seem to have now left.
