Stayed in this hotel for a couple of times already. The breakfast is great, with eggs, pies, cakes, fruits etc... The rooms are very modern and so are the bathrooms. They even had packed a breakfast for me when I was leaving early for my flight. Great attention from the staff (Zlatko kindly advised me throughout my last stay). The swimming pool is lovely too.
Visited the hotel for a massage and a spa session. The massage was good (€30 for an hour), the spa was small, but nice and clean. Steam bath, sauna, salt bath , pool and experience showers. Small selection of water, tea and snacks were available . Great place to relax for a few hours. Had to book in advance.
This has been a hard task to determine how to rate this hotel so I’ll focus on the description and you can make your mind up if you think I should have rated it higher...or lower. Stopped for 4 nights in May 2018. The location is perfect for tourists. It is a couple of minutes from lots of bars, restaurants and the centre of town. For this aspect the hotel is rated 5 star. The staff were really accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and there was genuine interaction. Breakfast was good; not excellent for me but certainly high standard. Cleanliness was good and the overall ambience of the place was welcoming and good standard. The thing that lets the place down was the room. For 4 nights it was far too small. It was awkward getting around the room and into the shower. There was insufficient space for two people. I suspected this might be the case from oblique comments on the booking website but I hadn’t appreciated how cramped and confined it would be. The staff did reassure me that if they had another room they would have upgraded me but this did not materialise and we put up with 4 days of manoevering around each other. There was a balcony but the only sight it afforded was onto a building site.
There is a small swimming pool with tiny changing rooms. It’s only suitable for a dip not a swim.
The hotel is not hugely expensive in UK terms but was for Macedonian prices. You could also get much better facilities for the price you pay in the UK..but you couldn’t get a better location.
The important question is would I return; the answer is unfortunately...no...not unless a bigger room was provided and then it would be yes.
From our time of arrival to the great location, people were friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful, as we stepped out the front door and made a left turn it took us directly to the promenade. We used the spa, which included a sauna, a steam room, a pool and a Himalayan salt room. The spa cost us 15 Euro - what a bargain! The hotel is tastefully decorated with art and statues. The double room, although on the smaller side, had a unique bathroom and was very quiet. Breakfast included lots of fresh fruit and they would make you omelettes or pancakes on request. I would highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel is very well located, 100m from the Macedonian square, but retired from the street so it’s quiet. The perfect place to stay and discover Skopje. Room and breakfast are ok and the personel is quite helpful and nice. You can also enjoy the pool and the spa at the end of the day.
