Extremely hard bed. Was given a twin room when asked for double. Mold in room. Paid over $200 AUS for the night in transit. Late flight coming in many restaurants in the area finish serving meals at 10pm.

We feel sorry that not everything of us met your expectation. Please feel welcome to ask our Room Attendant for a mattress if the bed is hard for you. It will help soften the bed. Also please let us know the room condition right away. We will rectify the problem immediately to ensure a pleasant stay experience. We are sorry that we could not provide you with a double bedroom as per your request because we are running full recently and the rooms are very tight. As we always do, we will try our best to accommodate our guest’s request on the room arrangement.

This hotel is located very close to the convention center and makes it very convenient for those attending events there. There are also lots of eateries within walking distance, many of which were open early for breakfast.
The room itself is clean, a little dated, but spacious enough for 2 people with a small working desk. The toilet is quite cramped but otherwise completely clean and functional.
If you are looking for a functional hotel which offers a convenient location in the wan chai area, then this hotel will work for you.

So convenient for sightseeing. Front desk really obliging. Breakfast amazing. Great views even if the harbour directly outside the hotel is currently a bit of a building site. Super room with every thing you need. Loved the hard bed - helped my husband who had been previously suffering with his bad back. Location great for ferry and metro. Would certainly go back if we revisit Hong Kong.

This is well located, just a five minute stroll into the very heart of Wan Chai / the metro.
We were on the 16th floor, which has a very clear view over the water to Kowloon.
The room was very small (we had a twin), but it was clean and tidy, but fairly dated. The reception and foyer is clean and fresh, but the corridors to the rooms are dingy and dank - not very appealing! Used the gym once, it is small and has a few treadmills etc, plus some free weights, but is air conned and has TV, and I was the only person in it. Avoided the breakfast as it looked pretty unappetising and we preferred to go out and find somewhere local (easier said than done however!). We tried to use the concierge a couple of times, one time he failed to book our restaurant and never told us. The other time he got us a taxi in the middle of the protests - would have been quicker to walk!
All in all, this hotel is cheap for central HK, and it is cheap for a reason. But hey, location location location - we simply used it as a place to rest our heads!

Thank you for writing us a piece of comment on TripAdvisor.com. We are happy to know that you are satisfied with the hotel’s convenient location, the price, the harbour view, the cleanliness and tidiness of the guestroom and the décor of the hotel lobby.
Regarding the size of our guestroom, please be advised that the majority of our guestrooms are roughly 200 square feet in size, and there are 2 room categories which are significantly larger in size. You are welcomed to visit our hotel’s website if you are interested to know more. Thank you for your opinion on the interior design of our guestroom too, we will take your comment into consideration upon our next renovation project.
Your comment on the corridor is well taken and it has been passed to our Housekeeping Department for review. Staff members have been briefed to pay attention to the condition of the carpets when they are making up the room and corridors. Please be assured that corrective action would be taken definitely. Besides, your opinion on the corridor lighting has been passed to our management for review too. In fact, we intended to use softer lighting to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere but unfortunately this idea did not work for you.
We are aware that you and your family members did not patronize our restaurants during your stay. Kindly be informed that our breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of Asian and Western food to cater the needs for different patrons. However, we will pass your comment regarding the buffet’s presentation to our Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef for review.
In addition, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by our Concierge Team. Staff members have been reminded to aware the traffic condition and reply to all enquiries raised by any of our guests.
Last but not least, we admit that the size of our gymnasium is not big while comparing with other hotels in Hong Kong. However, we have been trying our best to equip our gymnasium with different varieties of equipment.

I had a comfortable stay at The Harbourview ...nice Hotel but not a very good HOTEL in terms of what the name says...Harbourview..!! Only few rooms are facing Harbourview and rest of them are partial harbor view or facing the big complete wall of other building...you cannot see anything except the blank wall...it's so bad to see wall when you open the curtains...so better check for the room they offer or while making the bookings....Rest is all okay...food is good...staff co-operative .....ambiance is nice ...no much noisy....shopping srea, Metro , Airposrt Shuttle service is all nearby ...so good for business and leisure travelers...try to get rooms @ 21st floor with harbour facing..nice view to capture and enjoy HONEYMOON !!!

Regarding your comment on the view of our guestroom, pleased be informed that over half of our rooms do face the Victor Harbour and we have various room categories for guests to choose from. For guests who would like to enjoy the stunning Victor Harbour, they are kindly advised to make a reservation for “Premier Harbour View Room” or “Premier Plus Harbour View Room” to ensure they could have the view from the room. Certainly, the higher the guest floor, the better the harbour view is. Guests who prefer higher floor room are also advised to make the request prior to their arrival, so that our staff could arrange properly. Limited by the location of the hotel, it is true that some of our rooms face the back of a building and some room face partial harbour view only. Please understand that we have been trying our best to offset this weakness with our price and service standard.
