We stayed in this beautiful family run hotel and really enjoyed the tranquillity- the pool is gorgeous and heated, the food was freshly cooked and really delicious , the Madame who ran the hotel hospitable and friendly, the rooms were large, clean and comfortable and the view of the mountains was lovely. there are peacocks, chicks and cats and everything is well cared for
If you would like to go on a trip they can organise for you
We really recommend a stay here to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh
We spent the last two days of a week in Marrakech at Ksar Salha, having booked two rooms for our family of 4
We arrived late evening, but the host both greeted us and showed us around the magnificent main house, restored to perfection.
The best thing awaited us - after a stroll through the garden on a candle lit path we were led into our own Riad. A fabulous separate building in the garden with an impressive reception, sitting room and two huge bedrooms with 4 posters that easily could sleep 4 each.
It was like taken from Arabian Nights.
We shared the roof with the 10 or so peacocks and our girls loved the cats & kittens roaming the garden
Pool and pool area is superb. The beautiful garden is filled with fruit trees, lots of cosy areas to discover and views to the Atlas
Hosts and their staff were fantastic, and we had great meals both at lunch and dinner.
It is 1/2 by taxi from Marrakech so can serve as a perfect calm base.
We’ve just spent a great relaxing week here. Hotel is lovely and set in a beautiful garden. Owner and staff really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Loved the pool also.
We ate at the hotel every night and were treated to delicious and really varied Moroccan food.
Highly recommended peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle.
I still feel like I'm floating on some ethereal cloud after visiting the magical Ksar Salha this weekend. Everything about my mini vacation with my husband was perfect and made me feel like I was some kind of Moroccan princess. We were greeted with tea and cookies from the extremely hospitable and down-to-earth owners, Fatiha and Hicham who then showed us to our small palace of living quarters. I kept asking my husband, "is this real life?" as Hicham gave us the grand tour. The intricate hanging brass lanterns, beautifully tiled pillars and Moroccan sitting area adorned with red velvet and stained glass windows was unreal. We also had a rooftop that overlooked the the majestic Atlas and olive groves.
The grounds are perfectly manicured with flower and fruit trees and the only sounds you hear as you walk around are twittering birds and the occasional peacock. When you're not smelling lavender everywhere you walk, it's delicately cooking tajines with prunes and almonds.
After a long lazy dip in the pool, we spent evening wining, dining and relaxing on our rooftop. The food was out of this world delicious and all made in house. We also checked out the owners' impressive library for some inspiration on how to live the good life and chatted with Hicham and Fatiha as if we were old friends.
The next morning I had one of the best massages and hamam treatments of my life in my personal sauna and left feeling like a baby.
The best part about Kasar Salha are all the hidden spaces that you slowly discover as you wander around the place. I won't divulge too much here in the hopes that you discover these wonders for yourself.
Suffice it to say, my stay was one of the best I've had in Morocco and I will definitely be going back. Fatiha and Hicham put their hearts and souls into maintaining the allure of this place and it's hard to look away.
One amazing resort and family! We were treated like kings and queens for a few days, we have traveled around the world and stayed at good places but this one is a wow factor.
Organic food, hammam and spa treatments by the pool, exclusive suite, live music, fire, and BBQ, private transport and driver, were just the owners special touch to welcoming their guests.
They have their own drivers and can literally organise any thing you might wish for while staying at their resort.
Oh and if you are a fan of animals and nature they have plenty to offer, including few peacocks, chickens and cats.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to travel to Marrakesh and have a time of their life.
