Stayed here overnight on a visit to Trinidad. It's very centrally located and in the cobblestone part of town. The room was absolutely huge which, while wonderful and a real treat, means the air conditioning struggles somewhat. The shutters opened up onto the true Trinidad street scene below. Breakfast was included and consisted of bread and jams and some fruit out in the courtyard. The only negatives are that it is a lot more expensive than comparable properties (although you'll struggle to beat the location), the rooms are quite dark, and reception took a long time to check in although there were no other guests waiting, mainly due to an argument which went on and on between the receptionist and a lady who came in from the street (we thought it might have been her mother!).
Superb location with fantastic view from the window and balcony! We stayed two nights. Room was comfortable and clean in Cuba standards. We could hear live music from the courtyard downstairs in the afternoon, which was cheerful and relaxing! We also tried the attached restaurant. Never seen such a huge lobster, shaped like a small boat! Very fresh! All the staffs were friendly and helpful, especially Sanya the receptionist. It is a small hotel with four rooms only. They remembered all the guests and greeted us whenever we passed through. On the last morning, our driver was no-show. They helped to call him every half an hour until he turned up! Really appreciated!
The only drawback (or positive?) ---- there is no internet...
The hotel has only 4 rooms on the second floor, each completely separate. The balcony of the room has a great view to the street. The restaurant serves good food and great drinks, one of the most popular places where guides take the tour groups. One of the best places we stayed in Cuba. The place is just cute. The staff was very helpful. They almost read our minds with the riding trip to waterfalls and the need for taxi. Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our 2 days in Trinidad and this boutique hotel is brilliantly located. Anabel at the front desk was very helpful as were the breakfast staff. Our only complaint was the room was unbearably hot (34 degrees) when we arrived and the AC struggled to bring the temperature down to a descent level til the next day so we had to live the beds to sleep directly under it. If they can fix this they will be onto a winner
We stayed for two nights. The hotel is small and charming. Perfectly positioned right near all the major attractions. The rooms were large and well appointed. The bathroom was also lovely. We had plenty of bathroom products provided, even toothpaste. There is a hairdryer (I saw that someone asked.) Everything was very clean.
The staff were kind, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble.
There was the best Cuban music at lunch time in the courtyard.
The breakfast was lovely. We had a fresh fruit platter and fruit juice and then delicious omelettes and strong Cuban coffee, which set us up nicely for the days activities.
The stairs to the room were quite normal, we expected a step ladder when we read some reviews 😄.
They even have two large umbrellas in the cupboard for you to use to protect you from the sun/rain.
We would definitely stay here again, it was more than we expected.
