I stayed one night at Lamberden Cottage as I was in the area for a friend's wedding. The room I stayed in had everything I needed, very comfortable and had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside! The owners were so hospitable and really made me feel welcome in their home (the breakfast was also amazing!!). If you visit don't forget to check out their lovely garden and all the fruit trees. A very special place indeed.

We booked both rooms for our family to celebrate a Birthday! The Screetons are very kind and so accommodating. We had a very memorable weekend. The double room with bathroom is bliss...to have a bath was wonderful. The twin room is lovely as well with an extra room for children if needed.

This cottage was the first stop of our three week holiday in the south of the UK. We got a warm welcome in this place of peace and quiet. A beautiful room in this beautiful house with a beautiful garden. A delicious Full english with the best bacon we had these three weeks (thanks to the Aga I think) and great conversations at the breakfast table.
A pleasant reminder.

Would recommend this B&B to friends and would love to return when staying in the Garden of England.

We stayed in Lamberden Cottage for 2 nights. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits by Brant in their beautiful garden with many pleasant places to sit down and enjoy the view. Later on we met Beverley. I cannot express how warm and kind they both have been to us, with a lot of information about the surroundings and a wonderful breakfast. They made us feel welcome and at home from the very first moment. The room was very charming and comfortable and there was more than enough space to park our car outfront. We cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay. We visited Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle and Rye during our stay. Also Great Dixter is very nearby. I would recommend it to anybody to stay with this very kind couple in their wonderful cottage.
