The restaurant was great both the food and service. The check in was smooth and staff lovely. Our room is large and perfect for a family. The only downside is it is very tired. The bathroom is very dated. The floors had not been swept or vacuumed and the bathroom needs re grouting. The dining table needed a wipe down. I don’t mind dated but I’d expect it to be cleaner. This is reason for the 2 stars. Amenities wise it scored higher. The kids loved the pool area. There is a laundry too.

We stayed in room 394 and 395 both are literally across the gate from pool access. Pool open till 10pm so expect noise. Rooms tidy and clean with a full kitchenette with fridge. Both room have a double bed and double bunk bed. 395 definitely needs a maintenance upgrade on leaking toilet and shower. Overal a great experience with friendly staff. Personally don’t Recommend the cabins as they have outdoor personal toilet and shower. Minutes from town centre and 24km to nitmuluk aka the gorge

Cabin was clean and tidy and value for money. The restaurant however was a disaster. I think even Basil Fawlty would have been embarrrased. My son and I were the only ones dining in the outdoor area near the pool and I guess this should have told me something. Order two beers, only one turned up. Ordered the main course and after 30 minutes a waitress came and asked to take our order. After about 45-50 minutes the original waiter came up and stood by our table ready to take our order. We said we have already ordered and where is the meal. He raced to the kitchen and brought them back, but unfortunately the sale was ok but the grilled chicken was cold. Obviously they had been sitting in the kitchen for quite some time and nobody had obviously woken up to this. At the prices charged I would have thought there would be a llittle bit more professionalism. However, not to worry, during our 45-50 minutes wait we were treated to a floor show from the half a dozen drunks sitting around the pool. These people were probably in the early to late 40's and one clown in particular thought he had to out shout and yell over every other person in the group. Would have been ok, but his vocabulary was limited to the F word every second sentence. When the receptionist who booked us in came out to join them I thought things might improve, however this was not to be as she was oviously amused with the situation. Customers deserve better.

wow. we pulled up here and have altered our whole trip to stay on. shady, pool, bar, friendly staff, even a private bathroom for our campervans! right next to the museum, we abandoned all plans today to sit by the pool.
