We wanted to relax and not be in Venice every day and this hotel proved excellent for that. The most friendly helpful staff and a relaxing environment including a lovely pool. If you want to be more energetic there are free bikes to hire to go explore along the river bank.
Shuttle service to the train station although in reality not much more than a 20 minute walk. Plenty of trains so as you can be flexible with getting in and out of the city.

Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in the standard room which was spacious and cosy. Every amenity you would need is available (tea, coffee, hairdryer, tv, toiletries etc). The room has a free electronic safe to use and was very clean (cleaned every day). The staff were very helpful and did everything with a smile. They went through how to get to Venice from the hotel as soon as we checked in, giving us a map with all the train times on them. They also offer a shuttle bus transfer to the train station and offer to pick you up when you arrive back in Quarto D'Altino. (€2 single; €3 return.) The hotel itself is surrounded by lovely grounds and has a pool to use outside. In the morning, a free buffet breakfast is on offer and is really tasty, a highlight of the trip. The restaurant inside the hotel,La Corte, offers beautiful food as well. Excellent hotel. We will be returning in the future for certain.

We stayed at borgo for 3 nights and loved our stay. Staff were super friendly and couldnt do enough to help. Standard of room and general facilities were excellent. We would definitely return. One minor thing was the pool was very cold, could do with being a bit more heated if possible

I chose this hotel as it's away from the hustle and bustle of Venice.Lovely rooms and pool.Good service and very helpful staff. When we come back to Venice we will stay here again.Useful shuttle bus 3euros to train which takes you into central Venice +30 minutes-7euros return.A very relaxing holiday.

Overall excellent stay, would highly recommended. We prefer a more relaxed and quiet vibe so this place suited perfectly. If you want nightlife, then this is not the place for you.

See highlights below.

Hotel:
-Beautiful surroundings
-Peace & quiet
-Good breakfast
-Very attentive staff
-Lovely pool area that’s never too busy
-Enjoyed a aperol spritz by the pool
-Great restaurant we ate at twice
-Perfect room - we paid extra to upgrade
-A few nice restaurants nearby - Madly for dinner and pizzangelico for lunch, also a nice gelato place in the town
-Lots of mosquitoes, got bit quite badly but there’s a really good pharmacy in town who sorted us out, take good mozzy spray! Obviously not the hotels fault but bare in mind for your trip.
-Hotel organised taxi transfers from the airport (35euro each way) which was very convenient

Train to Venice
-you take the train to Venezia St Lucia station
-Hotel shuttle transfer is great
-Hotel explain how to catch train & provide list of times, with station names
-Tickets cost 7 Euro for 2x people one way
-One day we took the train to Verona which was easy and well worth it, would recommend

Venice
-Once you arrive at St Lucia station, you can walk all the way down to San Marco Square, it’s a long walk so we took the boat service back
-Boat cost 7.50 each per person one way or you can get an all day pass for 20 euro each and go to Burano, etc
-Venice is extremely busy in August and very hot so bare this in mind
-We found the restaurants in Venice mediocre, even after researching on TripAdvisor so eating at the hotel was welcomed

Verona
-It was quieter than Venice in August so we really enjoyed our day here
-Beautiful coliseum and lots to see
-Would highly recommend a day trip here

Other Info
-Treviso airport is a bit of a nightmare, very slow and long wait times
-Hotel add everything to the bill at the end e.g meals in the restaurant, drinks by the pool etc which is really helpful as you don’t have to keep cash on you

Overall a wonderful hotel and one of the highlights of our trip.
