We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or revisit this beautiful little hotel in a delightful but quiet small town. We stayed in the double ensuite room which was a good size and was very tastefully decorated. The beautiful courtyard with a lovely pool was just the place to relax in the evenings. Marie France and Jean were wonderful hosts. Merci beaucoup.

You can quickly run out of superlatives when describing this hotel. The moment you walk through the door in the impressive creamy stone facade and into a delightful enclosed courtyard, featuring an lovely pool bordered by shrubs, flowers and trees you know you have found something different. Every aspect of the exterior and interior of the hotel is finished and decorated to an impressively high standard. Our room was a good size with en-suite shower and separate toilet. Comfortable twin beds in a tastefully furnished and attractive room. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, washing machine, dryer, hob, microwave, in fact everything you need. This kitchen is part of a lounge with TV, sofas and large table. The area is shared with the other room in the mini gite. Breakfast including freshly cooked egg and bacon, bread, crossaints, plenty of tea and coffee was served outside in a shady area overlooking the pool. Parking is in a quiet road next to the hotel. Wifi is free and good. The hosts are always available if you need any help and go that extra mile to help you, at the same not intruding on your privacy. After all this the price is very reasonable. The hotel is situated right next to the ' Charante' and a few minutes walk from the supermarkets, shops and cafes of Mansle. An ideal stopover, going South or returning but even better as a quiet relaxing base to explore the Charante Region.

Very good value for money. Beautifully appointed, classic, quality decor, very comfortable room, a delicious breakfast, gorgeous views to the river.
The most ideal 'mine hosts', they directed us to the restaurant in Bonne Rivage the local hotel, we highly recommend a stay here.

We arrived after a long drive and were greeted by the owners in a courtyard with a pool and flowers all around. The room was adequate though the toilet was a bit funny and noisy. But the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with coffee or tea, jams, bread, croissant, cereal. All too much, but very good.

This is what I would describe as everything you would hope for from a French hotel
We were bowled over by the courtyard entrance to the hotel which has a small but nice swimming pool and lounge area where we enjoyed a nice cool beer.
The room was beautifully set out with comfortable bed and gave an impression of typical French decor and character.
Although the bathroom is not en suite but still not a problem and the bathroom has a Jacuzzi which was very nice.
Marie the owner is a delightful person and her breakfast was excellent with the home made marmalade a real plus.
This stop over for us was the highlight of our trip and would recommend this to anyone - I don't normally post on TA as cant be bothered but this was so good that felt I had to make a few comments. Many thanks to Marie for a great stay.
Marie doesn't do food in the evening so we walked down the road to the Beau Rivage where we had a very good meal so very happy
