We, (two OAP's) were booked to stay a short distance away, at the Shore Hotel (see our separate review) but because of our obvious mobility problems, which would have made access to our room on the second floor extremely arduous, the proprietors Debbie and Andy - with no cancellation charges - immediately offered to see if their friends at Francorchamps Guest House could accommodate us in a ground floor room. They could and they did.
At Francorchamps, Dot & Stuart Butler made us unbelievably welcome and were helpful in every way. Put simply, they did all they could to make us comfortable in our excellent en-suite room and their relaxing living room. Breakfast was always excellent with wide and plentiful choices. With such amazing value for money it's no surprise that they have no need to advertise.
Everywhere we went on IOM we were met with genuine, cheerful helpfulness. Our short three day stay was truly memorable.

We had a great en suite room with sea view and Stuart and Dot do a fabulous breakfast. This was a repeat visit for tt and there is always friendly warm welcome. Great price despite being tt week. Hope to be going again next year.

Our hosts were as friendly as could be and the breakfast was the best we have had on a long time. The views of the bay were stunning and the room was large, clean and tidy.

Had to drop a rating point for no en-suite bathroom or shaver socket though as having to dress and walk down a long corridor past all the other rooms each time you need the toilet isn't ideal.

Ideally located in Gansey Bay, just through Castle Town and overlooking Port St Mary. The accommodation provide us with a large ground floor double en-suite room with shower. Nice and clean with a rear view elevation overlooking a field full of wild rabbits. Breakfast was help yourself to cereals , fruit juices, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, fresh fruit , buffet cooked brekkie with choice of fresh cooked egg . Copious amounts of toast made from home cooked bread plus home made preserves. Mine hosts Dot and Stuart Butler are salt of the earth.............Yorkshire folk...........( we are Lancashire ) , but the craic was fantastic. All of this for a very, very , reasonable price . Big, big , thanks from Mr and Mrs L.

My Australian friends and I stayed with Dot and Stuart for 4 nights. I had an upstairs room with fantastic sea views while my friends had a downstairs room again with lovely countryside/mountain views. Both rooms were very spacious with lovely ensuite facilities. It was the first time I have had green tea provided in my room. Thanks.

Dot and Stuart provide an excellent service - in all areas - great breakfasts, great recommendations for evening meals (even making reservations for us) to recommending the local chemist in Castletown for healthcare.

I had spent most of one day on the internet looking for accommodation to no avail when I came across Francorchamps. I was so relieved and delighted to find some accommodation for us but was even more delighted on our arrival.

Francochamps is certainly a great place to stay (and such reasonably priced) and if I am fortunate enough to visit the IoM again I know where I will be staying.

Thanks Dot and Stuart from Lynne, Lynn & Terry.
