We held our wedding here in October and it was magical! Thank you to the team at Tredudwell for all their support and help in organising our day, Justin, Valerie and Hayley were all brilliant at helping us achieve what we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting that Tredudwell Manor, it catered to all our family and friends through the day and evening perfectly and the house, pavilion and grounds are so beautiful it made our big day truly special.
The manor itself is also perfect as a B&B with wonderfully comfortable rooms, delicious home cooked breakfasts and cosy sitting room with honesty bar.
Fabulous from start to finish, thank you Tredudwell team!
A truly hidden gem in Cornwall. Versatile converted barn, extendable for bigger groups, serviced with extensive bar and catering kitchens, normally accommodates wedding receptions and similar events & made a great venue for a charity dinner and dance.
Terrace views down across manicured lawns, beyond the outdoor lakeside gazebo (popular for nuptials in fine weather) and beyond to sea glimpses. At night and under moonlight the manor and gardens artistically lit and creates an ethereal atmosphere.
Check into one of the exquisite rooms in the house for an overnight stay. (some of the rooms interlink and are furnished for wedding party members to have private use of space the day before and on the wedding day/night).
Attic room 8 has the added fun of “duck or grouse” to dodge the beams. Sunrise through the sash windows and skylight can be blacked out with shutters and blinds, but are lovely for natural early birds like me.
Modern en suite, spotlessly clean, deeply comfy mattress and pillows in crisp white cotton. Around the house, an honesty bar, a traditional breakfast dining room with walls adorned with traditional paintings where you will be served cooked breakfast to your liking. Visit the top floor to borrow a good book from the mini library during your stay.
This is a period house with little/no access for those unable to manage steps/stairs/narrow doors etc however the car park, the modern refurbished barns, some of the gardens and wc’s serving the event venue are accessible.
I have just spent 3 days in this charming manor. The location is beautiful, the manor is set in its own grounds with views of the sea. The rooms are in keeping with the age of the house yet modern with the degree of comfort. Breakfast is an occasion served in the old dining room surrounded by family portraits. Service is faultless. If you just want to escape and enjoy tranquility look no further.
My wife and I and our adult children stayed at Tredudwell for a well earned post-Christmas break. We stayed in Rooms 3&4 which were both outstanding and a cosy retreat from the outside world!! Tredudwell is very picturesque and nicely tucked away through country lanes but it was easy to find using the directions on the website. We received a warm welcome from Becky on arrival who was very helpful and we were very well looked after by Justin & Valerie during our stay. The cooked breakfast was wonderful and set us up nicely for the day. We were fortunate to have good weather on our first day and able to enjoy the coastal walks nearby which have stunning views. We ventured across to Fowey on the car ferry at Boddinick and further afield to enjoy nearby beaches. The weather wasn't so kind on our second day so we relaxed in the drawing room in the morning with our books and a cosy log fire!! We spent the afternoon in Looe which was pleasant. We enjoyed evening meals at the Three Plilchards in Polperro which was particularly good and the Lugger Inn in nearby Polruan. The honesty bar at Tredudwell was also a nice touch. Overall we had a really enjoyable 3 nights in Tredudwell before making way for the next guests arriving for a New Year's Eve wedding. A big thank you to Justin & Valerie and the team for a memorable Christmas break !!.
We were passing through and needed accommodation within the vicinity of Charlestown for just one night. More local establishments were booked up so...here we landed.
Staff meeting you in the car park is a nice touch and very friendly and helpful they are too.
Accommodation comfy enough once you avoid the low ceilings on the upper landing :)
We staying in room six and seemed unable to open the window but that is probably us being silly! Bathroom smelled a little damp but then when the place is so old and has received just gentle refurbishment - such things are to be expected.
All in all: super location - fabulous views and very amenable staff.
Many thanks guys!
