The decision to book Luz Houses was a mix of causality and curiosity but it turned to be a great experience that over exceeded our expectations. The decoration that cares every single detail, the outdoor which is also great and very quit, the service and very friendly and supportive staff, the room which was very special...we loved the whole experience! Recommended experience!

I thought this place would be in the middle of nowhere but actually it is close to Fatima (walking distance) and is set on a road with other houses. The place is very girlish and young so I would not recommend it for guys going on roadtrip😊 Our room/suite was spacious and bright but the walls are thin so you can hear the neighbour talk and turn the water on and off. The pool area is not fitted for small children or playing around it is more a hangout for adults. The breakfast buffet has good options but refilling is quite slow so you miss out on some stuff. Information on the website regarding some of the surroundings are not correct so you should double check if you want to go some of the places recommended. The hotel offers you to have a ride on there bikes so you can take a bike ride to the caves nearby, which is a nice little trip. Fatima is quite boring but you can take a walk and look at both the new and the old church. Not the best place to find nice food.

I recently enjoyed two nights in the Master Suite; excellent rooms, (especially the bathroom), fantastic service from the girls, (who gave me so much local info, catered to my every need, always most cheerfully), the whole experience being quirkily hippy-like, and at a great price. Loved it!

I had anticipated our stay here as truly was not disappointed. It is everything that it claims to be and more. From the warm reception compete w lavender water to wash your hands with, to the lovely breakfast and evening meals, to the massage options in the cozy (literal) cave spa, to the smoothies and natural juices and multiple seating areas inside and out-
Every detail seems to be created for your enjoyment. Our room- the suite- was really a small apartment and as I’m writing this it pains me to leave it. Over all of this- the presence and demeanor of each staff person we had the pleasure to meet- felt genuine, warm and welcoming. Such gracious hosts! Will be returning and would highly recommend.
PS: please make the sheep throw pillows something you sell !!

I took my boyfriend to Luz Houses for his 30th birthday and we couldn't be happier with the stay (except for the bad luck with the weather). The staff was extremely nice and really went out of their way for us to feel happy and relaxed; they added a few vegan options to their breakfast buffet just for us! We took a room with a bathtub and it's huge! Perfect for a couple to fit comfortably together. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the swimming pool and explore more of the surrounding caves.
