Very nice host, charming atmosphere, it's an old boat used as a ferry one century ago and still in perfect conditions, the room and bathroom were spacious and warm, the top deck and the breakfast a nice plus. The central station is reachable in ten minutes via ferry, the view is very pleasant.
It cost a fraction more than the boat next door but was an infinitely better experience. The room was small but more than compensated for by the lounge and top deck.
An old fashioned wooden pleasure cruiser and a delight to look out onto the Amstel from. If you can ask for room with a harbour view do so. But we improved the limited view by stepping out of our admittedly very snug room and enjoying the setting from the lovely communal areas.
Some great cafes locally as well. We skipped catching the ferry into town twice and didn’t regret it.
We loved our stay on Kapitein Anna. Richard was the perfect host and the room was cosy and comfortable, but the star is the boat it's self which has been lovingly renovated to a high standard. The top bar and rooftop was a wonderful place to relax after a hectic day in Central Amsterdam.
We stayed here for a few days and honestly couldn't fault anything. The ship is a wonderful step back in time but with thoroughly modern bedrooms. The staff were fantastic and you are only a short free ferry ride into the centre of Amsterdam. It was great to spend time in the city and then return to what felt like your own private yacht. We will definitely return.
This hotel offerred beautiful view, good breakfast and nice accomandation. The staff was friendly and helpful all our staying :) We loved the deck, harbour around and the waves in the sea. The room were clean and had tv with many channels.
