The selection of this hotel was way below what was expected. In Rome, the “Caesar’s Palace “or whatever they were calling it that day, 'The Fitzroy Allegria Suites,, was nothing close to what we expected. Certain staff members were extremely rude and not obliging at all. They kept saying ‘no’ to any requests and denied any possibility for me to speak to the manager. Even after I did speak to the Manager he was just as uncooperative and rude. They totally ignored anything l had to say and kept postponing to the next day,so that someone else could maybe help. Our room was filthy and the walls were stained with what looked like unclean blood stains and dirt. In the other room we had a cot and on our third day while we were out sightseeing, someone from the staff took our cot and never told us. They moved everything, valuable and personal and took the cot. Unacceptable!!!!! The rooms had no telephone and nowhere was it advertised that this hotel had no means of communication. The elevator was not functioning well and no sign was up to let their customers know. My daughter was stuck between floors on more than one occasion and when we told to staff and management, they just shrugged it off. The help button or the alarm did not work. This is an experience that I would not like anyone to go through. Save you money and stay as far away from this place as you can. It is just a horrible place.
