My wife and I spent 3 nights at this delightful little hotel, don't be put off by the star rating it deserves at least a 4 star!
We were greeted by Ann the receptionist who speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble for her and we were swiftly checked in and allocated our room.
The room as is the hotel is spotlessly clean and well appointed the bathroom has a large shower and can boast the hottest water I've ever experienced!
Because it is a smaller hotel it seems that the daily cleaning of the room was very quick.
The location is possibly the best for seeing all that the old town has to offer, the entrance is directly opposite the cathedral main doors, everything you can wish for is a few mins walk away.
I can absolutely without hesitation recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located right next to the Mosque/Cathedral. I booked a room with view. I can see the Cathedral from my window. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very quiet at night. The hotel is very modern. Breakfast is very good. There was a problem with A/C when we check in. I asked Front desk staff. He restarted the building A/C and problem resolved. This hotel is not accessible by car. But parking garage is just few minutes away

The hotel does not look like much, but they were great. We had a room on the second floor (they had stairs and elevator) that faced the Mezquita. There is always an attendant right by the door who can help with tickets to flamenco dancing and the show of stallions. Tickets for the Mezquita are inside the gate across from the hotel. The Jewish center is nearby with a great museum. Street of shopping and restaurants are all around you. ALERT: you can't park in front of the hotel, but you should park in the parking garage at the entrance of old town.

Our room on the first floor overlooked the street but it was much quieter than I expected. (If you choose hotel in the old town, opposite the Mesquita, you shouldn’t be expecting rural peace! ). Take earplugs if you’re especially sensitive to noise. The benefit is that you get to watch the action in the street. Hotel is lovely. Clean, comfortable, chic and modern. Nice touches like free soft drink and water and fruit in the minibar and fresh flowers in our room. Breakfast was good. The reception staff were excellent, especially the pretty, dark haired girl with the wonderful smile, I think her name was Ana. She made us feel very welcome, especially as we arrived somewhat flustered, having depended on our GPS to guide us to the hotel. ( It guided us down ever more impossible alley-ways in the old town until we found ourselves in the middle of a street cafe and had to get people to move tables and chairs so we could get out.). I would highly recommend this hotel if you want comfort right in the middle of all the action, attentive and helpful staff who speak excellent English, at a reasonable price.

Just Perfect.
Having eventually fount Mezquita Car Parking (which is one of the recommended car parks by the Hotel) it was a reasonably easy walk to this Hotel apart from the cobbles with wheelie bags!!!

We were warmly welcomed to the small hotel, really more of a guest house, no facilities other than your room and breakfast. There is a tiny roof terrace with some tables and chairs.

We were given a lovely room that was not overlooking the street (No. 205) and so was very quiet. Breakfast was in the tiny conservatory style room downstairs and was perfectly adequate if and after you’ve mastered the coffee machine challenge .

This place is almost directly opposite the gate of the Mezquita (Mosque/Cathedral) which for our 5pm tour was perfect, a time I would recommend, we had pre-booked a tour at that time and it was perfect because the crowds had gone and there were comparatively few visitors. It was cooler too.

Hotel Caireles is in a perfect location not just for the Mezquita but for the Jewish Area and also for the Hop-On Hop-Off bus which can be got just the other side of the Mezquita. Well worth the trip.

The hotel was helpful in suggesting some restaurants outside of the touristy area, about a 10 minute walk along the river.

I would most definitely return to this hotel and would recommend it to anybody, for it’s friendly staff, nice rooms and convenience of location.
Thank you ladies.
