Upside 1. Breakfast Very fresh. Because they will cook when you order. I am Asian and ordered fried rice, they made such a wonderful decorated dish with enough amount of food. Great quality, suitable for everyone.
2. Well, modern facilities Elevator, lightening, spacious room, beautiful pool, and even a garden!
3. Greeting and welcoming staff. Housekeeping, cook, waitress, receptionist, they all have beautiful smile and are upfront for guests' needs.
4. Housekeeping, thank you! The way you made up the room was so sweet. I appreciate your effort to make the room so wonderful. When I came back from the beach I was so excited and amazed to find the room so tidy!
Downside 1. For couples - the other will know when you poop. Haha the ceiling is not covered so basically you can hear sound and smell through the uncovered ceiling of toilet room.
2. Taxi booking is expensive. To the airport was charged 1k at the hotel for a call taxi. But honestly you can get at least 200thb cheaper from the price outside.
Tips 1 minute distance, there are a cafe, restaurant, short cut way to the beach, laundry service shop.
Cafe and restaurant - opens until 2am-3am. Menu taste great. Laundry service - fast but not super cleanly washed. Lower the price from the offer by the owner.

Great value and good location. We arrived after dark, and unfamiliar with the Kamala Beach area and wondered where we were going! Arrived at the Hotel and pleasantly surprised. Great smaller hotel off the beach. Spacious AC,d rooms, very clean, comforysblebbeds, lots of hot water, good breakfast and very friendly staff!
Kamala Beach is a 5 minute walk away . The hotel is not right on the beach and far enough away from the busy, and noisy “strip”. A quaint hotel as advertised, with all the amenities for short term stays. Lots of bars, pubs and restaurants within a five minute walk.
Laundry service is available next door from locals, and large supermarket a short walk!
We found it to be very quiet with mostly retired couples and families. Not a party crowd which was perfect for us!

Totally secure. Great staff. An elevator ( for crippled people like me ) . Awesome food . Laundry service. Great little pool. Really close to everything , shops, restaurants and beach . The staff and owners are absolutely awesome, so friendly and full of information, it's not to often that you get to meet the owners of a hotel. I will absolutely be coming back to the WABI SABI.
