We travelled here over the remembrance day weekend to pay tribute to a great uncle who died during the Great War. We didn't know what to expect but the hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. The big house is immaculate and the suite type room we stayed in (with my father and son) was really comfortable and quirky, with a small kitchenette and one of the best showers I have had the privilege to use. Breakfast was a delight with an array of hams, cheeses, freshly cooked eggs and bacon plus yoghurt, fruit and home baked cakes, bread and croissants. Furthermore, the hosts offered to take us into town and even pick us up to save taxi fares. I would like to thank the couple for helping us to feel at home, and make our stay as pleasant as possible, and I look forward to returning at some point in the future. I would definitely recommend this place and even though around 12 miles from Ypres (which was our actual destination) I would still stay here, instead of somewhere nearer!

The house, the garden, the room, the shower, the breakfast and the people were just lovely. We shared a room with three people when we were skydiving in Moorsele. The beds were good which is important if you're active all day and the breakfast was just a feast. It was all very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We wished we could stay for longer than just one night.

I have been at Col del Vino for almost a week and it's a very nice place. Comfy beds, clean room, wifi working 100% of the time with good speed, the breakfast was really great. Hosts Ilse and Wim are very friendly and nice and wanted to made sure that I felt as comfortably as if I was at home. Even the weather was great! ;-)
Highly recommended!

Hosts Ilse and Wim operate a very clean and comfortable B&B. They are gracious hosts offering a warm welcome to their guests. The bedroom is spacious, with a well equipped kichenette and a stocked mini-bar fridge. The breakfast is typical of the Continental breakfast, juice, pastries, cheese and some cold meat and a bottomless cup of good coffee. Wim proudly made pancakes on the weekend. The property is situated in farmland outside of the town and can be difficult to find as there is no apparent signage.
We have no hesitation in highly recommending Col de Vino and would certainly stay again should we need accommodation in this locality.
