Things to know about All-Inclusive Resorts

A "true" all inclusive resort is a vacation destination where many costs like accommodations, meals, drinks, and various activities are bundled into one package price. However, "all-inclusive" much more commonly means very different things for each individual resort and doesn't necessarily include all the bells and whistles.

All inclusive resorts can include various combinations of accommodations, meals, drinks, activities, and entertainment in a single price, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy your vacation without worrying about additional costs every step of the way. It's best to check with each all inclusive resort to confirm what is included in the price.

Favorite destinations for an all inclusive resort stay are in the beautiful Caribbean, specifically in locations like Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, or Cancun, Mexico, where you'll find stunning beaches, warm hospitality, and a wide variety of resorts catering to all types of travelers.

While tipping at an all inclusive resort depends on the location, it's generally recommended to tip around $1-$2 per drink or meal service, and around $5 per day for housekeeping staff. However, tipping policies may vary, so it's a good idea to check with the resort beforehand.

All inclusive resorts can be found in various countries, including popular destinations like the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Belize.
