The Old town is a must-see for all visitors to Dubrovnik, full of both standard attractions and hidden spots to discover. Grand old churches and buildings, a maze of alleys, city walls, museums, and a large number of restaurants and souvenir shops. You could spend hours here, depending on your time and interests.

The ancient city walls of Dubrovnik are part of the Old town. There are magnificent views to the Adriatic sea, small towers on almost every corner, and traces of history at every step. It's really a must to devote enough time to walk and take photos here.

Constructed back in 1715 in Venetian Baroque style, this church is a display of architecture that is very impressive but rare. Located just in the heart of the Old City, this church is a must-see attraction for its marble altars, the Gothic statue of St. Blaise, and the Blessing of Throats after Mass.

A meal without wine is called breakfast. Maybe you have heard the saying, and that is just one reason D'Vino is in this guide! Its excellent location, wines, cuisine, and setting make the place perfect for lunch or dinner on your tour. While in Dubrovnik I always say you should mingle with the locals and drink some quality wines. Should you fancy that, this is the right place.

Located near the middle of Lokrum Island, this monastery is not easy to find. It was built in 1023, and the monks stayed here until 1798. The monks had the last say by placing a curse on the island as they laid a trail of melted wax. It was said that anyone who claimed the island as his own would be damned.
