Star Ferry is not only a transportation tool, it is a museum in itself, showing a bit of the old Hong Kong.
At a clear night a must, to have a marvelous view, best from peak! (or from Ferry terminal)
Old very cheap tram to go slowly along the Island.Enjoy the historic transport system of Hong Kong.
Again like a museum, but face crowded times, worth for a look on Hong Kong.
It is a comparably well priced, modern hotel, has a new subway station, and important for business travelers, only half hour to the airport by taxi on a never jammed route.
A hidden classic Italian place with excellent food. Small an perfect.
A Wanchai great restaurant in an historic building. Have good drinks and good food. Hip for the local younger business people.
Hong Kong, Wanchai is famous for its bars and pubs. So take a stroll and get into some of them. I recommend this one as an example, and for its atmosphere, as also many locals of british origin come here.
One of my favorite restaurants in Hong Kong. Spanish. Just the right place when being around Pacific Place. (For shopping, or if you stay in one of the 5 Star Hotels linked to Pacific Place.)
Carnegies is another famous pub in Wanchai, not so crazy anymore like 20 years ago, but still worth to go for a beer or some snacks.
This is a special pub in Wanchai. most people coming here are locals. It is Scottish, not English, so you get some special food like Haeggies. And it is more quiet than other places unless they have an event.
This shopping road is a must to have seen, when coming to Hong Kong. But be aware, that not all shops are honest at this crowded road.
