If the weather is good this is a marvellous place to see the city of Hong Kong from up high. This place is the highest point on Hong Kong island. The views of the harbour are great on a fine day. The way to get here is by the famous Peak tram from Garden Road. Some say to come for the sunset to get spectacular views as the city light up for the night.
This is just a lovely place to walk around and enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is where you see the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware and the Edward Youde Aviary. Even if there is rain it is still nice.
Victoria Harbour is great to see and even better to do a cruise. Don't forget to get a ride on the Star Ferry.
This place is amazing when you see the Ngong Ping village, Tian Tan Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery. You can now get there via the Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride or for the die hards you can walk the whole way. There are some amazing views for the avid photographer while riding in the cable car.
It is fabulous to just get on and take a ride to the end of the line and on the way you get amazing views of the local people going about and doing various jobs and so on. Usually at the end of the line there is nothing to see so just get back on board and return from the start.
Getting there is half the fun and the views on a good day are fabulous. There is lots to look at and the markets are fun and the food is reasonable.
The only reason to come here is for a coffee on the ground floor and the use of the toilets. Apparently this was Hong Kong's first sky scraper. It has 1750 porthole windows.
It is nice, again depending on the level of smog and the rain, to just walk along this promenade day or night and see the busy harbour and Hong Kong island.
This is a must when you are in Hong Kong. The Star Ferry is an Icon of Hong Kong. It is not rough so you wont get seasick.
You need to take these to go to Macau. They offer a comfortable ride over and back to Macau
What magnificent views on a clear day. This is the only way to go when you want to get to the Victoria Peak
It is a nice quiet place to walk around and it is free
This place is a must as you see how Hong Kong came about and the museum is very interesting.
Just fun walking around and seeing the locals, the colour and taking it all in.
This is a little gem of a temple and is just a very nice place which has few foreign visitors. I only found it by a bit of luck and it was worth seeing the place
More spectacular at night and dependant on the weather, Hong Kong at night with neons
Go for walk around and take in the street sights, fun at night
A must see if you have a few days. Get a map from the tourist bureau when you arrive in Macau, read about the history as you will enjoy it more. Plan to have lunch here as there is lots to see.
You must come here for tea and scones and take your time as this fabulous place to see. It is like in Singapore with having a Singapore Sling at Raffles.
You must visit this place for the food and night shopping it is fun
Even though it is not really old, 1924, it is fabulous to see.
It is a rewarding climb to get there as the views from up top are great.
I never realised that tea making history has such a large following. It is a really interesting place to visit and have a look around. Have a cup of tea while you are there.
The amount of incest that is burnt her on a daily basis is quite extraordinary. The size of the incest sticks is also amazing. The smell is lovely.
Wow what a little gem in the park. It is the best Aviary that I have seen in the world so far. It is very relaxing.
We went on a harbour cruise years ago and apparently this is fairly similar. You get to see around the harbour and the day time is very interesting
