Chris O's City Tips

  • Swim with caution, and learn as much about local conditions as possible before hitting the beach.
  • There's a reason why this far flung archipelago of tropical islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is considered a surfer’s paradise: big waves!
  • A little "aloha spirit" goes a long way anywhere — especially in Hawaii.
  • Distances between places on Maui may suggest shorter driving times than in reality. Maui's roads are windy, the topography is extremely varied, and weather conditions can change at nearly every bend. Take your time and enjoy the stunning scenery.
