The Vltava river is the central landmark, in my opinion, so I have started my guide on the river bank. Take any transportation to the Dancing house, also called "Fred and Ginger", since this is where the inspiration came from. And it really dances! :)

After a long walk and full of impressions, you would most certainly have a healthy appetite. The place to go would be Hotel U Prince, located just across the Clock. The service is impeccable from start to bottom. The terrace is a part of the Hotel and it offers some stunning views of the Prasky Hrad. And the food is unbelievable, tasty and well served. For a real Prague feel, have the knuckle or some other recommendation by the waiter.
