We will be staying here at the end of January. Will this be turtle season? Will we be able to go in a night tour to see the turtles nesting?

Hi! During January you may be able to spot the baby turtles hatching. The nesting season usually ends by December. There may be sporadic nestings at night but it would take a lot of luck to see them at the end of January. Hatching baby turtles are quite a sight as well! :)

Oh, what a wonder it is to see the turtles!!!! I have not seen them in Costa Rica, but swam with them in Hawaii and witnessed them nesting in Cancun, Mexico. It is turtle season, but I am not sure able the particulars in Costa Rica. I will say that what we hear about saving/protecting the turtles is true. Hopefully you will see them. Please do ask the hotel your question.
