What is admission and how long does it usually take?
Previous answers covered the cost: $10 general admission, $7.50 for Sr. Citizens, Military, Students.
As to the time, it greatly depends on how you like to visit museums. If you like to read most of the information posted by the displays, you'll probably spend two hours inside and another hour on the 1-1/4 mile boardwalk. We spent every bit of three hours and learned a lot. If you aren't as much of a reader, you could maybe cut that in half.
Movie is about 8 minutes and you should be out in one to one and a half hour. Only vending machines and nothing to eat but a desert across the street.
General Admission: 18-54
Students: 5-17 (or w/ college ID)
Military, Police, Firefighter (w/ ID)
Family Package: 2 adults and up to 4 children age 5-17
Children: 4 and under
General admission is $10 a person, free if you are a tribe member and free if you are age 4 and under.
They won't let me put the link on here but the museum has a website.
There is a charge $7 for adults, I think and free if you are part Native American. If you do both the inside and outside it is probably about two hours. We didn't watch the time so I can only guess. Be sure to do both.
