You can walk the museum in about one hour but it depends on how a fan you are and if you are taking children
My husband loves aviation so we spent more than two hours inside.
If you are a history buff-especially military history-I would allow more than an hour. There is a lot to take in from many phases of air history. This is a gem of a museum and you could spend time on the displays-the plane that was lifted from a lake bottom is like no other that I have seen. The staff is helpful and we plan to go back.
A few hours tops.
One to two hours is about right... This is a First Class Operation and well worth the time...
It's not very big so if you took your time maybe two hours tops.
You can walk through it in about an hour. There is a video gaming area that you can hang out for a while so it can be longer. We like to read all the captions by exhibits so it took us about 2 hours.
For indoor exhibits, I would allow a minimum of an hour. Two would be good if you want to read all the self guided materials. Typical tours are an hour to an hour and a half. There are also many planes outdoors. So much to enjoy seeing there.
