Georgetown Questions & Answers

Camarillo, California

I’m staying in Cheater, Va for work. Should I drive a certain distance and then hop on the metro to get into Georgetown and downtown DC? If so is there a stop you recommend?

It has been a while; however, the metro stop at Key Bridge is an easy walk into the middle of Georgetown. May want to Google ‘Washington DC Metro’ to see the updated map. Hope you have fun!

Hi parking isn’t a problem however the roads around a Georgetown can get fairly congested so public transport may be your best option. Recommend the Circular Bus which will take right to a Union Station from Georgetown

We drove right into Georgetown. No parking problems.

When in DC, plenty of public transportation.

I recommend the metro as it gives you great options. George Town is a great place to visit and have lunch or dinner and the Mall is a must. Enjoy

I guess it depends on where youbwant to go and what day and time. The Merro has stops all along the Mall and near Georgetown. Parking in GTown is bad- maybe drive to the 4 Seasons and valet?
