Hi we are coming to see relatives there next week from the UK and they are booking us to visit you, is it not advisable for me to book on the zip line as I have limited strength in my arms due to neck surgery? Many thanks

This does involve being strapped into a restrictive harness, So I won't advise you taking the risk.

Simple - don't do it!

Try the walk - quite strenuous enough, but very enjoyable.

Even though zip line cater to young and old, medical conditions in particular neck surgery should be directed to your doc who would know the best condition that you are in.

Hope that helps.

I agree wholly with the last comment. We didn't do the zip line either but it didn't detract from the marvellous experience of the tree top walk. It was mostly fit, younger people doing the zip line.

Hi,

We didn't do the zip-line at this venue...just the tree-top walkway; which was just awesome! Otway will be able to best advise you about relevant fitness levels for the zip...we found staff on the day to be friendly, helpful and communicative. Always possible for some to do the zip-line & others to do the walkway? Have fun, whatever you choose!

Suggest to do the walk and not the zip line if you have any concerns. The Zip line takes in several of the same sections of the forest. Walking helps you take in views at a casual pace, which for me, is true to the destination.

We have walked the Tree top walk twice and loved it both times. A strenuous return walk after finishing the circuit and you wont be disappointed.

You are sat in a harness and hold onto the rope coming down but I'm not sure if you have little strength if it would be advisable - you can just to the walk which takes over an hour and is awesome - enjoy
