Outback Ballooning Questions & Answers

Whyalla, South Australia, Australia

Is there any way an older person with knee issues would be able to get in & out of the basket? My mother is keen to book a trip but is hesitant due to the challenge faced by getting into/out of the basket. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Leah, thank you for your enquiry. All passengers must be able to climb up and in to the basket unaided using the footholes in the basket. The basket height is approx 1.2 metres high. Due to safety, the weather conditions do not always allow us to provide steps. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact our office. Kind regards Andrea, Outback Ballooning
