Never again!! Worst cruise ever!!! Never have I ever been around such a crowd of disrespectful people! If Carnival doesn't start enforcing rules and regulations and gets better security, they will only get one type of person on board. Imagine Oak Cliff on a Boat!

My INFANT got sick on board, we’re thinking from the terrible food choices available in both our designated restaurant and the buffets. We called the on board medical center and received no answer. After several calls to different extensions we went down to guest services and were sent to the medical center. They immediately said, “the visit will cost $150 which will cover check up and medicine”. This is definitely understandable, but talk about a lack of EMPATHY. We asked if we could disembark early so that we can rush to the hospital (baby had a high fever at this point and wouldn’t stop throwing up and having diarrhea), and we were told we could. We get our bags and rush to the elevators to find very long lines. I told the attendant directing the area we had a medical emergency and had to get off the ship, to which she basically shrugged and walked away!!! Afterwards we get to the priority disembark waiting area and wait. The lady there was so sweet and genuinely concerned, seeing that I was in tears. She let us go first. This is where Prahlad, Maria, and Trisha stopped us for an outstanding balance. We quickly said we had a medical emergency and had to get off board. We let them know to charge the card on file. At this point they basically body blocked us from getting off board, and very SLOWLY assisted other guests and told us to wait out turn. I HAVE A SICK INFANT WHO THE DOCTOR SAID SHOULD GET OFF BOATD IMMEDIATELY AND THEY WERE STOPPING ME FOR A CHARGE! What is the purpose of having a card on file??? What is the purpose of visiting guest services to make sure we’re paid the night before???? What is the purpose of receiving a final folio stating everything was taken care of??? At this point I’m livid and in tears. What’s even worse is that we cooperated, waited for the VERY SLOW, UNEMPATHETIC TRISHA to finish with other guests, paid our balance with the card that was already on file, received a receipt, and were then trying to walk out, only to get body blocked AGAIN by Prahlad. He and Trish slowly exchange words, while again we just WAIT THERE WITH OUR SICK INFANT CHILD. Needless to say the lack of empathy was shocking and disturbing. We aren’t thieves and we weren’t skipping out on our bill. We were simply trying to get our infant the medical attention he needed. I have photos and videos of the entire situation and will be suing should anything happen to my baby, God forbid. DO NOT CEUISE CARNIVAL!!!!

A friend selected this as our yearly girl's trip. First, we weren't aware that Cheers package did not include drinks on day one and ended up paying for drinks on first day. I guess we could've done the ghetto thing and snuck drinks onboard like some other guests did to hold us off until day 2 when we can use the Cheers drink package. There was lipstick stain on a glass at dinner. There was a leak in the hot bed spa area when it started raining. Only two hot stone beds of the seven worked in the spa area. In the adult area, it was still loud as hell. Staff at spa area couldn't figure out the music and were playing loud dance music, then static, then loud dance music. I finally asked her to keep music off as it was disturbing the customers who were trying to relax. Food was mediocre. I asked for mac n cheese with no bacon yet the second one still had bacon in it. I would have appreciated if I was informed it couldn't be done. No coffee being served on disembarkation day topped it off. I tried to get one at cafe yet was soo packed. Staff kept announcing for people not to crowd in the gangway area. I'm certain people were crowding to get out and find some coffee versus serving coffee so people can hang in their rooms till it was time to get off. If you like twerking contests with mediocre service, then this is the trip for you. Otherwise, there are so many more options to spend your money vacation wise than this.

You won't find a crew that works harder to please! The ship is clean and well maintained, the food choices are numerous and the entertainment is fabulous! I'd go back for sure! There are some things I wish I'd known. I wish I had brought my insulated Yeti so I could have a cold drink with me all day long. I didn't buy the drink package so it would've been nice to know I could bring my own cans of Pepsi. Don't miss the nightly show in the Ovation theater! The entertainment is outstanding! Don't miss the informational meeting held in the theater on the first day on the ship. We won't a free excursion because we attended and won one of the raffles! If you collect Pandora charms they offer a $5 charm daily and I liked taking advantage of that. It's not Pandora but fits Pandora bracelets. If you're docking in Costa Maya there is a swim up bar there that is the main draw. Don't forget to take your swim suit off the ship when you go. If you're docking in Cozumel the Catamaran excursion is great! The private beach was a highlight of the trip! While on board we enjoyed the free Guy Fieri burgers and the free soft serve and frozen yogurt (available 24 hours a day)! The staterooms only have 2 outlets and neither are in the bathroom. If you have a European converter bring it and you'll have a 3rd outlet available to you. Also do not book a stateroom below the kitchen galley of a restaurant! We made a big mistake and booked #2457 on Deck 2. We heard kitchen banging and crashing late into the night and early in the mornings! Also had difficulty with internet connection that low in the ship. Besides that it was a great cruise. Don't forget a jacket even in the warm months. In the evenings it's rather cool out there on the ocean, especially if it rains.

Our first ever cruise experience, Carnival Breeze from Galveston. We traveled from Dallas area, stayed a night over at Galveston Port Hotel. Before parking our car in the parking lot, husband dropped me at the Port and the porters took our luggage. Boarding was pretty organized. Loved the time spent at Lido deck, with varieties of food and bars. The food from Guy's Burger, Pizza, Buffet, Blush restaurant and Sapphire dining was excellent. Some exceeded our expectations, some missed the mark. The best thing in the cruise was Jasper the host, he was full of energy and positive attitudes. Don't miss the briefing live or you can watch on their TV channel in your own stateroom. Great service staff. Kudos to them all. They work on the hour everyday. Port day at Costa Maya was a small and crowded, as 4 ships docked at the same time, it was raining. We only spend 2 hours around the area, watched the Dolphins, took some pictures. Cozumel, also rained while docking, but later turned out to be a nice day. Booked our day trip to Paradise Beach Club. Review will follow later. You can dress up and down on the ship, attend the Punchliner comedy club or those stage shows or they teach you how to make towel animals. There is Latino music and dance, the nightclub which we really didn't like, the sound system hurt our ears, the casino if you are feeling lucky. Things we didn't like or won't do it again. I would not carry 12 pack soda and wine bottles, which is quite heavy. I had a carry on wheeler, which was okay, and I only carried 8 oz cans, not the regular 12 oz. We brought back 1 bottle of wine and 4 cans of soda. Until you get your room, you will have to carry it around to go eat. It was crowded and it was hard to find a table because everyone will be there to eat and wait on their rooms. As soon as we enter our room, it smell like pee and wet towel. There is such limited time for the housekeeper to clean and sanitize the rooms. I cleaned the toilet myself with hot water and the smell was still there. Make sure to take the air freshener with you which I forgot. We did have lysol spray which didn't help. On the day of disembarkation, the line was huge and lots of people carried their luggage and coming thru the stairs, elevators and everywhere. I would suggest you let the porters take your luggage the night before and try to get off the ship early than later if you have a flight to catch. After getting off the ship the line to the shuttle was very long and wait was tiring too. Overall, we still recommend the cruise to everyone.
