What travellers are saying
- Paul BChesterfield, UK1,677 contributionsThis is a good lounge with good food and drinks but it was overcrowded on our last visit. Very little seating available and when you have paid a premium price you expect more.Written 4 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Denise PBradford, UK57 contributionsThe food was disappointing, lack of variety, it took us ages to get in as we didnt have a code due to internet connections, you should already have our details on system but they said no! not ideal we would have lost £44 x 3.Written 4 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michelle M3 contributionsThis was the first time that we used the Escape Lounge in T3, and we found it to be very tranquil with lots of spaces to sit in and relax.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. We were there for the breakfast service, with some crossover into the lunch service - so we got to enjoy the cooked breakfast options, as well as pastries, cakes and sandwiches. Drinks options were great too (both alcoholic and non alcoholic).
We would definitely use the Escape Lounge again, but this would be dependent upon time of day we would be travelling (this time we were there between 10am - 12pm, so we think the fact that there were both breakfast and lunch options between these times made it very good value for money).Written 29 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Escape lounge buffet was like something you’d get after the funeral of a distant relative who had fallen on hard times. Chicken drumsticks, rubbery quiche and a selection of uninspiring sandwiches. More comfortable than sitting in departures and staff were great, but the food was eminently forgettable.Written 4 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sightsee04814848821Dalton-in-Furness, UK2 contributionsIt was packed and we had to sit most of the time at a table which was full of left overs and the floor was dirty, we couldn't use our dragon pass so had to pay £89 for myself and disabled husband. the bar was crowded and comfy seats snatched up right away half filled with bags. The food was not good and vegetarian was not good or non existent, staff were mostly attentive but not in the buffet, before the changes it was brilliant.Written 5 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain22,459 contributionsWH Smith is a shop located in the Manchester Airport, one of the most important cities in the center of England. I came here, when I was waiting a flight to return to my country. I bought a sandwich of pigs under blankets take away to breakfast. It was ok. A pragmatic place in the airport.Written 19 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
