We visited Kefalonia in May of this year really ready to take advantage of our all-inclusive resort by the beach front and just chill after the years that we have all been house-ridden! However, for the price and the number of things on the itinerary, this seemed a really good deal and I booked for two of us - ready to explore the island.
Aries ('like the God' he joked) was just amazing from start to finish. He arrived and was smartly dressed, the vehicle was very clean, very practical, and spacious and he was so courteous all day - asking if we wanted cold bottled water, and making sure the temperature in the car was ok for us. Although we had an itinerary Aries, always made it clear we could do and see whatever we wanted to, and we could stay longer/shorter if we preferred - it was luxurious!
Every destination he took us to was just beautiful - caves, hidden beaches, wine tasting -we always managed to beat coaches and hordes of people, too! He showed us 'hidden gems that we would never have found ourselves. It was the best day, really exploring the island and the wonderful treasures - we are so pleased to have done this and cannot recommend this enough. There was absolutely nothing Aries wouldn't do for us to make sure we were happy and comfortable, we never felt rushed - and although the experience does say it is not a guided tour - you can tell just talking to Aries how passionate he is about this island, about the history, heritage, culture, and beauty
