We had a really amazing experience on a 3-night riding holiday here! Our itinerary was planned with Becky over the phone during booking and was tailored to suit our different abilities and goals.

I had an incredibly helpful lesson in the arena which Becky planned for me based on my initial assessment lesson. Becky is an excellent teacher, the exercises and guidance she gave me were really rewarding and I felt like I learnt so much in just one lesson.

My boyfriend and I went on a lovely and relaxing trek together - he is a beginner and he really enjoyed it, he also had his own lesson in the arena before we went out to teach him the basic skills for the trek, he felt very comfortable on the ride.
For the second trek it was just myself and Becky and so we were able to have some really fun long canters. My main goal for the week was to improve my confidence and I felt this was definitely achieved here! I rode 3 different horses and they were all so lovely, they were responsive and calm and I felt very safe.

We stayed in the local hotel in town, it was a great location, just a 10 minute walk from the riding centre, we had some lovely meals in Orgiva too. The scenery on the treks was beautiful.

Thank you so much to Becky and all the lovely animals for giving us such a special week!!

In lovely surroundings, aligned with nature and the spiral energetic vibrations from snow-topped mountains, you’ll find KaliYoga - a place of peace, healing and love.

Such a lovely place and beautiful people. All there to share their expertise and to provide guidance on your both physical and mental journey.

Great services (IR sauna, swimingpool, hiking, Yoga shala, library etc), absolutely amazing food and the treatments are life-changing.

I would recomend a stay for all who ever look for hapiness, mental development, awareness, strength and fulfilment!

A lovely surprise to pop into this local history library when visiting Orgiva on a tour through this part of the Sierra Nevada! Such friendly and welcoming staff! One reference room dedicated to the books and manuscripts of Cervantes' Don Quixote. A local history section and charming Childrens area.

I could never have dreamed a retreat would change my life this much, this experience exceeded my expectations. Tara's retreats are an incredible experience for the mind, body and soul and I felt that I grew as a person. She makes it easy for you to completely let go of any worries and hang ups and become immersed in the yoga and spirituality, particularly for a beginner like me! It was truly peaceful and the location was pure paradise. I am now a yoga girl for life!

Stopped off here after a meal at a local restaurant , Really busy and lively cafe. Very friendly staff , and very generous measures . I think we had a treble gin !! Strange plate of mixed nuts and sweets placed on table . Seems to be very popular with locals

Just got back from a three night stay in Orgiva.
The property although basic had everything we needed. Shower, pool, wifi and space for outside eating. It was perfectly located extremely close to the mountains and local villages but far enough not to be bothered by noise. The property is located just off the main road (marked by a BP petrol garage!!) which was easy to get to from Malaga and then find.
Orgiva is very small but has a couple of grocery shops, a lovely restaurant and the best bakery! We also travelled to a nearby village; Lanjaron, which has an ice cream shop and some more restaurants as it is slightly bigger.
We were road biking and there was loads of routes of various sizes.
David was lovely. He provided us with maps to use for exploring and provided muesli, cereal, eggs, bread, milk and fruit.
    We will definitely be back!
