The views from up of Genting highlands was amazing and the place is ideal for taking photos, the weather is cooler than downtown in the city because of the nature of it’s location. we had a day tour that included a cable car ride that dropped us to a mall in Genting then to the temple afterwards.Written 28 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mohanraj V1 contributionWorst tour agent…. They never book any ticket for Gondola… they will ask you to stand in queue to buy… and they will just buy only one way ticket. I would suggest better take taxi or grab to Awana skyway and Take cable car to Genting… glass gondola cost you 35 MYR with return. Mr. Muru was our driver and provided us with excellent company during the day - taking us to various places of interest and greeting us enthusiastically. He came with a very nice air-conditioned car. After waiting for one hour and calling them 100 times they told us that the trip is cancelled and the money is still not refunded. Our guide VJ was very knowledgeable - not just about the attractions but Malaysia in general. The private tour meant that we had a 1:1 chat with the guide for the entire trip and could ask lots of questions. The guide was very knowledgeable and helped us to plan other activities during our stay. The Genting Highlands are out of this world. It is hard to believe that there is a shopping mall and indoor theme park (for kids) nearly 6000ft about see level. Apparently the outdoor theme park is due to open soon. Thereafter ride by cable car up through the clouds to Genting. Was unable to go outside since the weather conditions did not allow it. Keep in mind that passports are required for non malaysians to enter the SkyCasino.
