Stunning beach and lake. Feels undiscovered. Reasonable car park and nice boardwalks. One small beach bar open but several restaurants are either permanently closed or closed due to late season at end of October. Lovely to walk along the beach and beautiful sand - we were one of only a handful of people.

Great experience, a bit far from Lisbon, but worth the drive, the space is really well designed and caters for all ages. You can just relax on hot summer day, under a tree sipping amazing gin, there are a few bars, plenty of shade, water fixtures and animals to enjoy. Kids also have lots to be entertained. And if you are in Costa Vicentina is much closer to visit, also you have beaches close by.

We spent a very long day here, arriving as they opened and leaving at closing time. There is a lot to see and do and it is a very good day out. The staff were excellent and obviously enjoyed their jobs. My only criticism is that all the commentaries were in Portuguese. Not surprising but some effort could have been made to open up to other languages. Maybe a printed sheet? Def recommend.

We came across Mirobriga as we were making our way down the Alentijo region of Portugal. It was interesting to see the sites such as the thermal water rooms and the forum. The grass was overgrown which I think added to the nature of the ruins. On the pathway we came across archeologists digging up some artifacts, it was interesting to see. I have never seen archeologists at work before. It was definitely worth it for us to see how far the roman empire had stretched. Make sure you take water with you as it gets very hot in July. (we visited July 2018)

Fascinating place. Had no idea what to expect when we got in only to find they'd used the grounds as its local cemetery. Beautiful monuments for departed loved ones. Signage wasn't clear on the entrance that behaved dogs on lead weren't allowed nor was photography permitted. We didn't hang about when the groundsman swore at us in Portuguese as we broke both rules by accident. He was super angry. Anyway, it was worth the visit. Not dog friendly. No photography allowed. Angry staff included.

Excellent Roman ruins. Better than expected. Certainly worth the trip. Lots to see and only half has been excavated. Recommended.

Silvestre is fantastic!!! Big personality - who loves to take people on outdoor adventures. He picked us up at the hotel in Lisbon, brought us to Serra de Arrabida for a 15km hike that ended with lunch in the fishing town of Sesimbra.

My wife, kids (18,21) and I loved it!! Thank you Silvestre.
