- LAW64Tonbridge, UK1,780 contributionsStunning beach and lake. Feels undiscovered. Reasonable car park and nice boardwalks. One small beach bar open but several restaurants are either permanently closed or closed due to late season at end of October. Lovely to walk along the beach and beautiful sand - we were one of only a handful of people.Written 2 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Clara S127 contributionsGreat experience, a bit far from Lisbon, but worth the drive, the space is really well designed and caters for all ages. You can just relax on hot summer day, under a tree sipping amazing gin, there are a few bars, plenty of shade, water fixtures and animals to enjoy. Kids also have lots to be entertained. And if you are in Costa Vicentina is much closer to visit, also you have beaches close by.Written 26 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jaq1967Essex, UK482 contributionsFascinating place. Had no idea what to expect when we got in only to find they'd used the grounds as its local cemetery. Beautiful monuments for departed loved ones. Signage wasn't clear on the entrance that behaved dogs on lead weren't allowed nor was photography permitted. We didn't hang about when the groundsman swore at us in Portuguese as we broke both rules by accident. He was super angry. Anyway, it was worth the visit. Not dog friendly. No photography allowed. Angry staff included.Written 14 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- hans-jaguarSanta Comba Dao, Portugal24,385 contributionsThe Church of Santiago de Cacém is one of the most important religious locations in the Alentejo and is so a National classified Monument, we were there already once and could not enter the church, and it seems that she can be closed for a good time if they do not start with renovation works very soon. Park the car below and walk up the hill, this why there is not allot of space to let the car, and it is a nice walk, you can see also the castle (walls) in between those walls you have the cemetery, and there is also nice garden beside the church.Written 14 February 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
