Beautiful place to escape the crowds in Waikiki. Main trails are marked and pretty well maintained. The other trails are not and very rough/muddy/rocky but pretty. Main trail to waterfall is rocky and slippery in places. Recommend hiking boots for sure.

A humble retreat where plant/tree labels are good and you can walk peacefully for 1 hr. and get away from Honolulu bustle.

This is an interesting place, certainly worth the visit. The biggest downfall is that the identification of the many trees could, and should be greatly improved. The complementary folder available at the beginning of the tour suggests that you will be able to identify the many interesting trees. Unfortunately, as you walk around it turns out to be a hip hazard experience. Some trees are well identified, others are not. Also, the signs identifying the trees, very, making recognition challenging. Too bad, there are so many interesting trees and the educational experience would be greatly enhanced by ensuring better identification and marking of the trees in a consistent manner.

This was a really special tour. I grew up on the other side of Manoa Valley and always saw this house while driving by. The tour was very informative and who knew that there was such historical significance on the grounds of this house. It was a great opportunity to catch some history about the valley and experience a little bit of the liquid sunshine we get in Manoa.

Worth a quick stop here. Easy to find, lots of free parking. Lots of different cactus. Good way to spend 15 or 20 minutes if you're in the area.

When our Uber driver dropped us off at the entrance, we immediately recognized this is a city park and not a botanical garden we "assumed" when visiting Hawaii islands. Nice green space set in regular urban neighborhood.

Some flowers were blooming. A paved path leads you down towards the stream and a very small waterfall. That is the high point of the park. Nice waterfalls. The whole visit probably was 30 minutes.

When we visited, there was a small group gathering at the picnic area. At first we thought it was a couple of families, then quickly realized it must have been a homeless outreach group. They had pizzas and bottled water. Just down the stream under the bridge, you can see homeless tent encampment.

We didn't feel unsafe, but after that, we got an Uber ride and tailed out of there.

Located on the first floor of the airport after security (between E and F) this garden was a nice place to kill some time while waiting for my delayed flight.

Lush, tropical, serene and quiet I can’t believe I was in too much of a hurry to never notice this before. Helpful signs described the type of trees and plants.

Benches were scattered around so one can enjoy the waterfall, listen to the birds, catch some sun, picnic or watch the koi swim around.

Highly recommend hanging out here instead of the gate or shopping in the stores.

Nice small garden near Diamond Head Grille were you can eat your takeaway plate lunch. Looked a little neglected this time.
