This was our second luau and it was far better than the one we attended a few years ago. Pick up was on time and fairly organized as you checked in. Once on the bus, our hostess Sia was AMAZING. She was so funny and animated! Upon arrival at the luau location she had it together big time as far as getting us off the bus and into the luau quickly. We had a mai tai in our hand in no time! She was very clear with directions of what to do, what time to be where, etc. Yes, there were hundreds of people overall at the luau but we never waited long for drinks, to go through the buffet line or anything else. The food was good, not great as expected at a large scale buffet of this type. The show itself was really good and showcased many different types of Polynesian dancing with the fire dancer being the highlight as it is at any luau. The star of this particular luau is the location. It is BEAUTIFUL, right on the beach with the most gorgeous backgrounds I have ever seen. They have a professional photographer to take photos which you can buy for a reasonable price. We had a great time overall and would recommend this luau if you are looking for a fun experience in Hawaii. For us it was a "one and done" only because it is expensive and if we are lucky enough to return to Hawaii we will probably choose different activities overall.
