    A neat find
    This is a really neat spot, definitely off the beaten path. You can arrange a tour at the TI office near the Hotel Jardins at the end of the bridge.

    Benedictine Monastery of Sant Pere
    Of the Benedictine Monastery only the church remains. Inside the church lie the tombs of the most notable abbots of the monastery.

    A religous site of hostoric importance.
    A short drive away fro Besalu town and not a must see. Monastery ruins in an open countryside setting, Of architectural importance for the early stone arch and pillar work of the Romanesque period. Restored to some extent with no attempt to do a rebuild as a tourist attraction. Worth a look around, the building and a woodland walk.
