Perhaps the apartnents may not be as vividly painted as in.some towns, but the exoerience of walking through the Old Town's residential streets during the relatively quiet off season was enchanting.

Even the cafes/pubs were not busy.

Allow at least 40 minutes for a walk.

Some homes used external copper piping worth a mint. Others, only PVC.

Rainy day but still worth going to see.
We still swam and it was really safe. Just watch out for sea urchin spikes.
    A great spot

This small museum shows the history of the tanneries in Bosa. Displaying a number of pictures and tools in one of the original ateliers, it gives a very good impression of how people needed to earn their living in those days. The smell you need to imagine yourself but reading which materials were used (dog droppings) you can get the picture.. it makes you wear your leather bag and shoes with a bit more respect ..

This is a small museum with some very interesting art both in Casa Deriu and across the road in another building. Worth a look if you're interested in art.

Lovely huge sweeping bay with a small harbour, lovely cafes and places to walk. A great place to relaxe off-season. Apparently busy in summer.

It’s quite a hike through the town to the top of the castle, but well worth it for the views. And there is a great little bar nestled into the walls for a cooling drink (granite!) or for a sundowner.

We visited a lot of beaches in Sardinia and while there are lots and lots of wonderful beaches in the north-east and east, this was the best beach we visited in the west. It is quite small and gets crowded despite the reasonably steep climb up/down but the swimming/snorkeling is great even then.

This over 1000 years old church is just 3km outside the town of Bosa. Try going there in the early morning (opens 08:30) and just sit and enjoy the force of these old, old walls and the silence of the building. Would be a wonderful place to sing a concert for sure.

As with any Italian church, not without interesting features, but is undergoing significant interior renovation as of mid-2023. I expect it to be dazzling when the works end.

We briefly stopped at Bosa marina after visiting the old town & castle. It didnt have much character to it and whilst it seemed to have a good bunch of cheap looking hotels/resorts and restaurants we did not stop long.
