Fantastic guide/very knowledgeable about the country. Visited some gorgeous locations. The black sand beach was a personal favourite. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland.

Our apartment wasn’t on the pickup list, but Otto picked us up at one about a block away. Very convenient. We started off the day with the glacier hike. If you’re expecting something strenuous, this isn’t it. It was a pretty small “hike”. I was a bit disappointed we didn’t go out further. But, it was beautiful and still an enjoyable experience. After the glacier, we went to a black sand beach. Truly gorgeous. My wife and I had a quick lunch there before we drove to our next stop. The first waterfall was huge! We hated that we only had fifteen minutes to explore. We barely had time to go up the stairs to see it from above and get a couple pictures from the ground. The last stop was another, smaller waterfall. It was too icy to go behind it like people normally do, so we didn’t bother walking out to it. The whole day was rushed, but it was a great way to squeeze in a lot of sights in a short amount of time. Otto was very funny and a great guide. I think, overall, this was a pretty decent tour.

We had an amazing day on this tour! We got to see so much and our guide Einar was amazing with making sure we got to see it all before the sun went down. Einar was extremely knowledgeable and kind. We would highly recommend this tour because you get to see such a variety of sights. We couldn’t have asked for a better last day in Reykjavík!

Highly highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Adi was fantastic and he went above and beyond for us. We saw the northern lights at the hotel, thanks to him. He was a very safe and experienced driver and extremely knowledgeable about Iceland.

The tour itself was well paced and we were so lucky with the weather. There were plenty of restroom stops on the way and Adi always made sure each and every one of us was safe. We felt very well looked after and will book with nice travels again when we are back!

    Thank you so much, Adi!

What a great day! Roberto collected us at the end of our road in a well equipped Mercedes mini bus and went on to collect the rest of the party for the day.
There is a fair bit of driving involved and the conditions can be treacherous over winter so we thought we'd leave it to the professionals!

The stops along the route were ordered for the lack of daylight this time of year and worked well. Stopping at SkĂłgafoss first then onto SĂłlheimjokull the glacier.

Roberto was a great guide here taking our group over some magical terrain and onto the glacier. He showed everyone how to use the equipment and stay safe. He even took detours in to safe areas for some amazing photo opportunities and then got us all rappelling into a hole in the ice! Above and beyond.

We were on the ice for about 3 hours and following this we went to the black sand beach sun was setting and it got dark quickly but we got to see it and grab some food at the good restaurant there.

Our next was on the way back at the lit up waterfall, this was saved until the end due to the short hours of daylight this time of year and worked well.

A great day tour with a great guide
Thanks Roberto for answering our questions and keeping us entertained we all had a great time!

Thank you for the wonderful experience! Our tour guide Hjalti was an absolut expert. As a local, he knows the icelandic culture and shared all of his knowledge with the group. We were relieved that we didn't had to drive ourselves in the harsh conditions, but the guide was an excellent driver and managed it very well. The stops and excursions we made on the tour were just perfect. Although we had not much daylight, we did manage to do all of the stops with enough time to explore the beautiful nature of the island. If you want to get a good overview of Iceland with some great background information from a local, you should book the tour.

Great tour. The glacier hike at Sólheimajökull was super interesting and fun thanks to our Portuguese guide (I forgot his name). The Snaefellsnes Peninsula was gorgeous and our driver and guide Elias was the best.

Our guide, Monika was very knowledgable and won over some tricky tourists with her professionalism. The ice cave itself is very small but someone showed me a photo from March where the cave was much bigger. Most impressive is the ice scape at the foot of Katla. It is worth the journey to see such an incredible landscape.

Great tour, Monika was great, loved her dry sense of humor. Lots of fun information and even a playlist for the drive. She made it a good trip despite the rainy weather

I loved the experience. Thanks to our guide Louisa Dainius for the explanations throughout the tour. It's a long bus ride, but it's worth it.
