Our travel consultant, Gabriela, worked closely with my wife and me in planning the perfect trip including the perfect length (following an outstanding five day trip on "Norway on a Nutshell" (also booked thru Nordic Visitor). Although the group could have had as many as 16 persons, ours was a total of 7 plus our superb guide, Aron. Aron was a fountain of knowledge--from Icelandic history to Icelandic geology to Icelandic culture. Our tour leader, Johnna and driver Thomac were just delightful, and full of stories, fun facts and intimate knowledge of Iceland. The bus was so comfortable. Times at each site were good. Simply breath taking sites and to be safe with this tour was great! Food and restroom stops were perfectly timed. And a bonus there was a bathroom on the bus if needed.

- SHEILA C9 contributionsMy family and I booked the South Coast tour plus Katla Ice Cave. It a very good tour to do but due to the long drive, there was not much time to eat so be prepared to bring food and drink with you or buy some at the quick stops. There was no "lunch break" but just quick restroom stops and convenience store stops. We loved the itinerary. Each stop was worth seeing and exploring. We did have to switch over to another tour company (Gravel Travel) for the Katla Ice Cave portion. We are so glad we did the Katla Ice Cave. First--we had the best tour guide (Daniel). He made the experience more fun with his entertaining personality! The drive to the glacier and ice cave was a great and beyond this world type of experience! The ice cave itself was smaller than I was expecting but I understand that it's nature and beyond the guide's control. It was still very cool! We eventually were transferred back to our original tour company to complete the rest of the itinerary. It was such an amazing experience even though it was a very long day. The sites were amazing, the group was a blast to be around and our tour guide David Ingi Magnusson made sure we maximized each stop and experience.
His knowledge and history of the various stops plus his recommendations of the best places to eat, views for pictures and “hidden” secrets was invaluable.
I researched for almost a year before booking. Save yourself the time and confusion and just book it. We had the opportunity to visit the glacial side of the Island (diamond beach) but also magnificents waterfall like Kvernufoss and Skogafoss with a very experienced and nice tour guide, Emilia, who gave us good informations about the places and also told Is Icelandic folk tales.

The drive up to the snowmobile’s was an experience in itself and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland. Definitely worth the money and you get a good amount of time on the snowmobiles too. One piece of advice I would give when doing this tour is if you do want to go a little faster on the snowmobiles then I would recommend getting to the front of the convoy behind the tour guide as that’s what we did and we were able to pick the pace. - Ronnie G8 contributionsFilip was exactly what a tour guide should be: knowledgeable, engaging, funny and entertaining!
His driving was most professional, even for Iceland's infamous bumpy, windy roads. He was able to squeeze in a few extra stops for photos, got the group to each destination either on time or a little early (affording us all a few extra minutes for that last photo) and he is a pretty deft hand at being a DJ as well.
His laid back demeanor and awesome anecdotes about everything from buildings to Viking lore about that rock over here made the trip feel like you were travelling with a friend.

Instead, I want to commend our guide, Hinrik, who was an absolute star. He was friendly, helpful, and very entertaining. He was also hilarious, not just while commenting on the sights but also when playing songs depending on the context/situation. He made our tour way more entertaining than we thought it would be and we genuinely miss him.
