- SHEILA C9 contributionsMy family and I booked the South Coast tour plus Katla Ice Cave. It a very good tour to do but due to the long drive, there was not much time to eat so be prepared to bring food and drink with you or buy some at the quick stops. There was no "lunch break" but just quick restroom stops and convenience store stops. We loved the itinerary. Each stop was worth seeing and exploring. We did have to switch over to another tour company (Gravel Travel) for the Katla Ice Cave portion. We are so glad we did the Katla Ice Cave. First--we had the best tour guide (Daniel). He made the experience more fun with his entertaining personality! The drive to the glacier and ice cave was a great and beyond this world type of experience! The ice cave itself was smaller than I was expecting but I understand that it's nature and beyond the guide's control. It was still very cool! We eventually were transferred back to our original tour company to complete the rest of the itinerary. It was such an amazing experience even though it was a very long day. - Ceci TWashington DC, DC331 contributionsWe spent 4 days in Iceland touring with Hidden Iceland and had an exceptional experience! Our guide, Ingimundur, was fabulous - very knowledgeable and personable, funny and an excellent driver. The mini van for our group of 10 was in mint condition and a great benefit is that it came packed with rain gear and hiking boots for all of us. Given that it poured for 4 days, we would not have been able to enjoy the trip without the excellent gear!

The drive up to the snowmobile’s was an experience in itself and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland. Definitely worth the money and you get a good amount of time on the snowmobiles too. One piece of advice I would give when doing this tour is if you do want to go a little faster on the snowmobiles then I would recommend getting to the front of the convoy behind the tour guide as that’s what we did and we were able to pick the pace. - Zeest J2 contributionsI recently booked the tour of diamond Beach private guide tour with iceland paradise tour, his primary guide Sultan mehmood. I came to visit iceland's miraculous and marvelous places from Canada with my family and it was unforgettable experience. From beginning to finish everything was perfectly organized and well maintained. Our guide sultan's professional and personal approach to make us visit memorable was beyond remarkable. He shared fascinating insights about the area's history and geology. He also took our beautiful professional photographs from his professional camera.
The beach itself is stunning and it's glimmering icebergs contrasting against black sand; the view is breathtaking. Sultan make sure that we had plenty of time to explore the place and took our photos. He maintained his professionalism and work ethics so well. Our guide tailored the tour with our interest and making it feel impressive, relaxing and special. I highly recommend iceland paradise tour company with his sole guide sultan mehmood. It has tons of information on the sights, history, geology, and culture of each area. It was more helpful than the months of planning that I did for the ring road trip. We know tons more about Iceland than we would have driving without it. The five hour Super-jeep tour dives past deep canyons, rugged washes, beautiful waterfalls and impressive glaciers with multiple stops to get out and explore. Hefty large-wheeled vehicles tackle imposing Thorsmork Valley road with a minimum of jarring vibration. At the end of the valley the rustic Lava Hut "cafe" served delicious soup-bread-cake lunch after a pleasant optional two(?)mile hike. Our guide (Elvar), personable and knowledgeable, patiently answered all my questions during the drive. He provided great historical information along the way and drove his monster 4x4 like a pro. His playlist was epic and he was funny as well as patient, making sure everyone was safe throughout the adventure. Our guide Einar was very thoughtful and a very good driver, knew the terrain, answered all our questions. My kids loved it, my wife and I loved it.
