One thing to keep in mind is that this is definitely an all-day journey of approximately 12 hours. We visited many beautiful locations across our journey as Joanna provided background about Iceland’s history and culture. She was very insightful which added great value to our first excursion in the country. Would recommend.

- Will D2 contributionsWhere to do I begin? Our tour was amazing. Walking on top of a glacier, and seeing it with my own eyes was a powerful experience.
Our tour guide, Roberto, was beyond incredible. He was very knowledgeable about the glacier and what we would find there. Likewise, he walked ahead and kept a sharp eye to keep us all safe. His sense of humor and wit were refreshing and we learned a great deal.
It was a privilege to share a tour with Roberto, and in time, when I return to Iceland, I will look for this tour company and this guide again. Our guide, Ingimundur, was fabulous - very knowledgeable and personable, funny and an excellent driver. The mini van for our group of 10 was in mint condition and a great benefit is that it came packed with rain gear and hiking boots for all of us. Given that it poured for 4 days, we would not have been able to enjoy the trip without the excellent gear!

It has tons of information on the sights, history, geology, and culture of each area. It was more helpful than the months of planning that I did for the ring road trip. We know tons more about Iceland than we would have driving without it. - Sarah OUnited States25 contributionsWhat a great day. We saw a bunch of the southern coastline which is rugged and beautiful. The Katla volcano/glacier was astounding. Our guide to the ice cave was knowledgeable and helpful. My 10 year old quickly felt comfortable and said he’s a glacial expert now. 🤪 bonus: we saw an arctic fox! Great waterfalls on the way home. - Mintie123Fremantle, Australia344 contributionsGreat on time pickup, taken to depot then everyone moved to their correct your groups. Our lovely lady tour leader was friendly, professional and helpful. We got to see some amazing sights and had appropriate time at each stop, about 30 minutes. Take rain jackets as you will get wet, especially if you walk behind the waterfall (which I highly recommend!). We stopped for toilet breaks and you could buy food and drinks from the roadside cafes there. Lunch was an hour stop with shops and cafe available. We did take our own packed sandwiches lunch and just brought coffee!! Long day with lots of driving, but glad we could just sit back and relax and watch amazing scenery. - Teigan C18 contributionsAbsolutely amazing experience and an absolute must do tour whilst visiting Iceland. The drive up to the snowmobile’s was an experience in itself and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland. Definitely worth the money and you get a good amount of time on the snowmobiles too. One piece of advice I would give when doing this tour is if you do want to go a little faster on the snowmobiles then I would recommend getting to the front of the convoy behind the tour guide as that’s what we did and we were able to pick the pace. We had the opportunity to visit the glacial side of the Island (diamond beach) but also magnificents waterfall like Kvernufoss and Skogafoss with a very experienced and nice tour guide, Emilia, who gave us good informations about the places and also told Is Icelandic folk tales.
