Hands down one of my favorite places in NYC. I love coming here for off leash hours with my dogs. Such a peaceful and enjoyable time!

The work done on this Museum is amazing. A terrible tragedy aptly commemorated by the displays and information. I learnt a lot more than I knew before I went in. It's a 'must do' if you're in NYC.
Beware, you'll need at least all day to appreciate it!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC is a must-visit! With its vast collection spanning thousands of years, there's something for everyone. From ancient artifacts to modern masterpieces, each exhibit is meticulously curated. The building itself is stunning, and the rooftop views are a bonus. It's easy to spend hours here, and still want to return for more.

Fantastic new place to visit in New York. What used to be a railroad track is now a beautiful walking path right in the center of the city. Definitely worth a visit and it's completely free.

Broadway is the busy thoroughfare that cuts diagonally through Midtown Manhattan passing through Times Square, Herald Square at Macy's and near the Empire State Building and ends at Union Square after passing by the much-photographed Flatiron Building. However, in truth, Broadway describes New York's theater district as many of the best-known theaters in town are located on or near the street. Taking in a Broadway show is a must-do experience when visiting NYC.

Great way to see some spectacular views of New York. Probably the best view over Central Park. There is a new attraction called The Beam but unfortunately it was out of order when we visited.

It’s definitely a lovely place to be in NY! The views are amazing, wherever you look at it’s beautiful. We were lucky the weather was perfect, but I’ve been there also in cloudy or cold days and it isn’t as nice as in warm sunny weather

After visiting NYC many times and only having a look from far away at the Statue of Liberty (which wasn't really overwhelming!), we decided to take the boat tour to visit the Statue of Liberty.

Expectations weren't high, but we absolutly recommend to do this visit!! The Liberty Islands Grounds also offer a very interesting and well curated museum if you want to explore the statue's history.

Grand Central Train Station is one of the most visited destinations in NYC.

It offers sights, history, architecture, dining and shopping.

The most iconic and wellknown sights are: the turquoise and gold celestial ceilung mural and the info booth topped with a four-sided brass clock.

Pay also attention to details: one souvenir to take home in my heart ❤ is the shiny golden brass letter box.

We visited on a w.e. and unfortunatly the Grand Central Oyster Bar was closed ...

I first visited GCT decades ago and was overwhelmed. Each time I return here it's a highlight. Great aura!

The Manhattan Skyline is a very impressive view and reminds me of when New York features in films and tv shows. It was great seeing this view for free from the Staten Island Ferry.

New York City always amazes us. Broadway shows were top notch performances. The restaurants were excellent. We especially liked Senza Gluten by Jemiko and Mamacitas Mexican restaurant.

Well kept, safe ... nice (small) park to enjoy for a pause to relax and chill.

Plenty of stalls where you can buy local "arts&crafts" or a drink/snack.

This is an iconic landmark not to be missed, we "visit" Rockefeller Center each time we are in NYC.

    "Free activity"

The "Channel Gardens" are nice to have a look at ...

We booked the free guided tour to learn more about the library’s history and it was amazing. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and we were embarked in a very entertaining ride through the library’s collections and halls. Make sure to book several days in advance as the tour is quickly sold out.
