After the boat tour to the Statue of Liberty ( not recommended because of a very bad organization) and walking through Wall Street ( where people were queuing to take a picture with the bull), we arrived at the 9/11 memorial.

It is very confronting. Outside where the 2 towers once stood and where in their place there are now 2 memorial pools and in the wall surrounding it all the names of the people that died are engraved.

On the inside, it continues, pictures of all those who lost their lives, videos, objects, and part of the original wall of the building. A great memorial to those who died and important to keep the history alive.

We spent a magical afternoon exploring the Met's vast collections. The Egyptian wing was particularly fascinating, and the rooftop garden offered stunning Central Park views. Plan at least 4 hours here - we could have stayed longer! The Temple of Dendur at sunset created the perfect romantic atmosphere. Worth every penny of the suggested admission.

We visited just to say we had done it (second time for me). It’s a fantastic place to see but I don’t feel you spend much time here. It’s better when you have a tour guide.

Great place to visit for shops or to get some food. There is a sweet shop that sells all American sweets which was great. The market was dressed up for Halloween and the decor was awesome! It was very busy when we visited but it was a Sunday.

We popped in to take a look at the opulence of it. There were loads of rooms and marble staircases. We wandered around the corridors admiring it all although never saw a single book! There was a queue to see the historic Rose Main Reading Room. Toilets were available free of charge.

This is a great museum worth visiting in NYC. With so many museums, it is hard to choose which one you should check out if you are limited for time. This should definitely make your top 5. Lots of interesting exhibits and activities for patrons of all ages.

I saw this when it was first being built and never imagined it would become what it is today - a beautiful and incredible building, the feeling of light and space seems endless. We were only there as we were coming out of the subway but it made us stop and look and we soon realised it was an incredible space, used for many different activities such as art, cultural displays, music and obviously shopping.

Venue is iconic and it was a great place to end our trip! Went for a Knicks game which was just amazing - the whole experience of the crowd-cam, singing, T-shirt throwing in to the crowd, the celeb row, etc….. etc… and of course some fantastic basketball!!
The venue itself is good, plenty food and drink stands, plenty toilets and seats were comfy. Getting in took around 20 mins - signs would help if you have a bag as separate queue, but just an observation not an issue.
Would highly recommend a visit, particularly for a Knicks game!!

Great interactive museum! Don’t need to go as a couple, anybody open-minded and artistic should go. Fun night in Miami!

This unique branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, dedicated to medieval European art and architecture, offered us a serene escape from bustling New York City.
The museum's design, incorporating elements from actual European monasteries, created an immersive experience. We marveled at the intricate tapestries, illuminated manuscripts, and religious artifacts. The highlight was the peaceful gardens, reminiscent of medieval monastic life.
The Cloisters' hilltop location in Fort Tryon Park provided stunning views of the Hudson River, adding to the romantic atmosphere.

We went to see Jon Baptiste at Radio City Music Hall. The sound was wonderful. Jon Baptiste was wonderful. I just wish we had set up closer. I didn't realize how large this hall is. There are over 6,000 seats. This was not a tour.

Gorgeous church to just go in and walk around, it is free. Stunning architecture if you are in the area to visit it. The church bells go off on the hour.

This tour was amazing. We went with our family, ages 7-15. Wear comfortable shoes as you stand quite a lot. But this is a tour not to be missed by history buffs. It kept my kids attention and I found it fascinating.

Ellis Island is one of the most popular destinations in the National Park Service, thanks in part to the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration. No trip to the Statue of Liberty is complete without visiting Ellis Island

Even if you don’t consider yourself a museum person, this is a place I’d recommend to anyone, especially if you’ve never been to Ellis Island before. Ellis Island explores the history of U.S. immigration, with a specific focus on the island as a national immigration center from 1892-1954

Behind the museum, you’ll find the American Immigrant Wall of Honor. On this massive wall, you can find names of immigrants who came to the U.S. Alphabetically engraved on the wall are hundreds of thousands of immigrants, from various time periods.

There is also a large grassy patch that provides the perfect spot to have a picnic with views of New York City and the Statue of Liberty.
