What travellers are saying
- Raquel ReisSantos, SP36 contributionsVery large market inside, many food options with places to seat inside, for different times of the day (lunch, brunch, just a drink).Written 24 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RazzyBthefirstMacclesfield, UK1,517 contributionsWe were in NYC for a gig at Pier 17 but the opportunity to see ELO on their 'over and out' tour here was too good to miss. Fees online were ridiculous and a lot of resale tickets so we popped into the venue when we arrived and got the cheapest available, ÂŁ150 for two, side on to the stage, Block 223, up in the 'Gods'. As luck would have it, due to the laser show, we were given different seats on the night, more than twice the value.
Fabulous venue, superb acoustics, amazing light show, spacious seats, this was a proper show and we had a great time. 19, 500 sell out but no issues getting out, the place is enormous, we just took an exit and then found our way back to our hotel which was across the road!!
From buying Out of the Blue in 1977 to seeing Over and Out at the MSG in 2024, I couldn't have been happier.
Thoroughly recommended venue.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was told it would be re-opening soon as they are in process of constructing safety measures after several people jumped out.
It is lovely; my friends who had been inside previously said that the experience was really incredible.Written 23 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There's was enough spaces for everyone, the view deck where you can see right underneath was amazing, the only thing I would say would make it bigger is if the experience before it had a bit more to itWritten 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RazzyBthefirstMacclesfield, UK1,517 contributionsThis is a massive station so you need to know exactly where you want to go when you arrive. We got a bit confused by all the different exits and ended up walking a little further to our hotel, across the road. It's all a bit chaotic but we didn't have any major issues. We used it a couple of times but mainly for the LIRR back to Jamaica for the Air Train.Written 27 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ElfmaGreenwich, CT737 contributionsIf you build it they will come. And they, tourists and locals, have. Dynamic space has a mostly upscale mall to loose yourself in for a day, performing arts spaces(some for free) and museum exhibitions in The Shed, The Vessel helix(limited access by ticket).
A great place to spend a day or evening in all seasons.
Do NOT fall for ticket hustlers here. Access is free.
Short walk to Chelsea Piers and boat tours, High Line, Little Island and Chelsea Market for a very full day.Written 26 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of good restaurants, access to the High Line, some very good food markets, well-served by the subway. It would be a very cool place to live in Manhattan.Written 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marion FNew York City, NY298 contributionsThis was my first time here. I would walk by occasionally and recently decided to go.
Focused primarily on art/artist from smaller Asian countries like Tibet and the Himalayas it is 6 floors covering periods from BCE to 2023.
Very interactive it is a must visit for anyone interested in art from those regions.
The last open day to the public is October 2024, so hurry, You need about 2 hours to really see everything and they are open til 10pm every fridayWritten 1 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This time it was Sleeves, who knew there were so many different versions. This is a small museum easy to do in less than an hour. It's free! how many places in NYC are free. It's very close to Penn station, so if you have time to kill before a train, this is a good place to pop in. Their exhibits change frequently and it's always something interesting. Well worth a visit.Written 16 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KazzieB10Stroud, UK33 contributionsBrilliant store ... work wear in the US is fashion in the UK. Helpful staff, not pushy.
This is my second visit in 3 years, a must do for Dickies and Carhartt loving son in UK.Written 22 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a reclaimed elevated train line that had been abandoned for decoades, and then converted into a linear park. Fun to walk and see the changing neighborhoods and fancy new buildings, plus some old ones. Some good landscaping along the way. You can step off and explore some great neighborhoods down on the street level.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sabena SNew York City, NY1,316 contributionsOne gigantic mural was in the Gagosian. Last Friday while gallery hopping in Chelsea I visited the Gagosian gallery that is spoken of in hushed tones. Interesting and worth visiting often.Written 7 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Adventure DivaManchester, CT2,781 contributionsThis building has a shell casing that captures the eye of those passing by. This Hudson Yards project is an art center, theater, plaza and a restaurant. Check out their event schedule for upcoming great performances.Written 28 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TYsadventuresBrooklyn, NY920 contributionsJudging by its unassuming exterior, one might mistake it for a local neighborhood theater, but upon stepping inside, you discover a vibrant community powerhouse for dance and music. Nestled in an upscale, progressive-chic neighborhood accessible via MTA A and C trains and the M55 MTA BUS, it proves to be a gem.
The neighborhood itself boasts a safe environment with numerous bars and eateries. Accessibility is commendable, especially for those in powerchairs or using a manual one.
The theater's staff is exceptionally accomodating. The wheelchair access includes a flat roll-in, security-manned entrance, and both ticket usher and box office window are easily accessible.
While the lobby is on the smaller side and can feel cramped, the seating options are accommodating. With in-place or removable accessible seating on both wing sides (right and left), the theater strives for inclusivity. Restroom accessibility remains uncertain as I haven't utilized it, but is available.
The performance hall is impressively spacious and comfortable, adorned with pleasant lighting and colors. Accessible seats in the sixth orchestra row offer an unobstructed view. Over time, I've had the pleasure of witnessing performances by local, regional, and internationally acclaimed companies, making it a versatile and enjoyable venue.Written 14 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Soaking up the atmosphere is pretty cool / just relax and get lost in the experience. The animations are really well done and the sound design is incredible. Air up close to the wall and you feel the whole world moving around you / very surreal.Written 27 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
